So with the return of the Whack-a-Mogra event there is alot of interest in the Safe Bar's waitress, Kayla. Especially with a few certain xenians that dont seem to want to share her. Standing as close as they can get and putting up huge shops to prevent sharing of Kayla and those coveted mogra tickets.
I cant tell if its just a player that is in love with Kayla and wants to be annoying to the other players or an Outspark staff member trying to catch cheaters.
Anyone else annoyed at these xenians? Have any ideas why this is happening?

Annoyed? Yes indeed. Ideas why it's happening? just people who love annoying other people tha'ts my guess. Outspark should really consider asking dnc to try and make it impossible to set up shops within a 3-5 player sprite radius. Or give players an option to disable shop viewing to remove those over-sized shop titles.

2 excellent ideas! I know some sellers like to put up right in front of hotel NPCs or shop NPCs and those are annoying visiting them once in a while. But having to try and click kayla for 2-3 hours straight through a shop makes me want a player kill system on all maps! -kerpow!- Take that shop!

I just went and looked, and you're right D: that must be very annoying. Although, if you click right under the shop and on the xenians head, it opens chat with Kayla everytime. .___.

Or you can just zoom in (scroll with scrolly thingy on your mouse if you have one) and that works usually too.

I made a thread last year griping about the people that set up the shops right in front of the hotel and transporter npc's. I suggested pretty much the same thing War did and most posters seemed to agree with me although there was one player, a healer with the first initial of P who insisted it was a valid and effective marketing technique forcing other players to click on their shops. I too think there should be a safety area around all npc's and around player shops.

Outspark staff member trying to catch cheaters? O.O
Hello, conspiracy theory guy. >:
When I first saw those annoying xenians with their shop infront of kayla I thought, like Taz mentioned, that it was some sort of marketing technique since a lot of people are playing mogras. D: BUT THEY HAD 1 CORN FOR 0 KRON FOR SALE v_V
So, I don't get it. I think they're just brushing up on better ways to annoy people. And its working. For those of you that glance at the screen, click on Kayla, and afk, its so annoying to have to zoom in and stuff. ;_;
Lyf = hard.
Kayla is pretty hot, though. :Q
So maybe there is another reason...

IDK i have seen this happen before and even seen a gm log ppl off that were intentionally blocking things. So maybe if a gm is nice and walks by he or she will move the ppl for you :D

Blocking Kayla is an obvious ploy to keep people from playing, thus giving the blockers or their alt a better chance at getting a high score.
It would be funny if Kayla moved into the middle of PVP permanently.

I'd think the halo around NPC preventing shops from being set up would be a great idea. I'll submit it to Suggestions forum. I'm sure if there's a GM not really doing anything, then if they have a chance they can log the Kayla hoarders off. I mean its not fair to keep such a maiden to themselves.
