Learn what to use and not use some things are just not useful at all till later levels like the level one attack speed doesnt do jack till around level 4 >_> dont be a spam ***** .... use what works trash what doesnt.

.... i guess ur a fighter, u would know sp dont last much ..or u just save ur sp, cause u only use normal hits?....

all skills are to be used... if ur not using them all, why get them...

Definitely that we're expected to tank. Sure we have tanking capabilities, but not everyone is built to tank. Can be annoying explaining that just because I have snear kick and taunt doesn't mean I can tank bosses. Sure it's plausible at lower levels but the difference becomes much clearer later on.

Sweet I got a forum nick name and they think I CARE, hah and how many skills can I get off and still have sp...I can get ALL my skills off and still have sp to taunt/aoetaunt/semi-aoe stun and normal damage attack. and I only gots 25spr in my spr OH MY no way. you see unless you actually have a fighter up there in i dunno past lvl 20 and unless you played it for awhile you find sp REALLY does balance out later on. you also find skills that "Drops dodge rate, or drops attack rate" really dont do much till the higher levels of that skill, Oh and by the way..people who cant openly take critisism and get easily offended usually revert to calling people like "troll of the forums" who lack the intelligence to comprehend what someone is trying to say. But obviously you lack that and obviously you havent been past the levels 10-25 because you lack to see that sp balances out with or without greens.

Edit : There's probably so many typos in this but at the moment I dont care I get to wake up to people flaming me -yawns- think i'll take a nap.

The only thing I do find wrong with the fighters though is snearing and the aoe taunt doesnt ALWAYS taunt the enemy it seems to be buggy and misses sometimes when I need to regain aggro.

Yes it is understandable that not all fighters are built to tank, but that is their job. They are known best for it too. And you can't really stop people from believing all fighters can tank, when some just can't because of their build.

I think low SP is the problem of fighters.

Spamming status ailment skill and lure skill is SP consuming.
To be a great tank, spamming such skills are vital

Just to go in topic, not like somes talking bout skills we get over lvl 60.

The polls is kinda poorly made, and wont show the exact result.

1. Low sp:Most skills below lvl 59 are spamable, and ur sp stones, pots wont last much, am a tanker and i gota re stone 2x as other paths gota go re stone, if u had partied, u should know this is true, fighters or tankers always re stoning first.


2.no ranged: this shouldnt even be considered in poll as worst, this isnt a game that u can choose an all around char, chars here are meant to party and complement ea other, offcourse sux at pvp vs trully range ones.

3.they are in evry game therer to basic: not sure what he meant, but fighters are meant to be spartans= very simple , most skills till date are just cast on them, so no complexity on tabbign through party members to debuff, buff or heal, their main goals are the monsters.

4.fighters are EXpected to tank: dunno what should this be one of the worst things... is true its gettign kinda decent votes , but look around, there mroe fighter than tankers, a tanker wont care to tank, fighters moreless, even tho tehy can tank, prolly not aoe tank as a true tanker, but they can tank....if ur hte only fighter at the party, why wont u tank? or would u send the cleric....Most ( not all) dd or hybrid fighters, usually party with other tanks , so they arent used to aoe mok, kick etc, so when the go to new parties where they are the only fighthers, things may go wrong and ppl may die...

Every fighter can tank, just depends on what party u got, where, what and how many at a time ur tanking...the party goes to where the fighter or tank is willing to go..

EVen tho i can tank most monsters below lvl 60 places, if i suddenly join a lower players party, and they asked me to go where i can, go, ill prolly deny the party or just fight where i think they can kill.

I don't like it that fighters are expected to tank all the time. Yeah, sometimes I enjoy tanking when I know that people there back me up. But if I'm in a group and I use my snear kick or taunt and not one single cleric decides to heal me, then I'm basically screwed. I use a two-handed Steel Solar Eclipse Sword (won at a kq) but that doesn't help me one bit when I don't have much defense, defense scroll or not.

Although people are also right about how the special attacks cost so much SP. I've always saved all my sp and hp pots so it doesn't bother me. But for crying out loud, we're not clerics and mages! We attack with swords and axes, not maces and staffs. It shouldn't cost so much all the time. And then to have it take so long to cool is rediculous.

or effectivity. Coz cooldown dec in low levels are neglible

I really havent had a problem with the cd though, the main one i use is the slash, the others like debuffs/taunt/and stun are better off used only when really needed (i.e. tanking a harder mob) and well you get two taunts, say use one to pull an enemy than if someone aggros you it again to grab it if the first hasnt fnished the cd use the 2nd.
haha id hope vampiric stirke wouldnt heal too much because a fighter has high hp as it is, tank or non tank and healing alot of hp would make him far unfair ontop of the stun and all the debuffs he can pop off.

What other classes has taunts? or as high defense/HP.

All I'm saying is that just because a fighter has the potential to tank doesn't mean they have to. With the right build they can deal damage perfectly fine, but it's fine if you don't agree. Everyone has their own opinion. 2H weapons and skills weren't given to fighters to tank better. I use a 2H sword and I intend to bring out its full potential. :)

all of the other classes that I've noticed can spam skill at least twice before havine to use a stone

out Vitality skill takes way too long to use, and definately doesnt last long enough, but I can see why since it practically eats your DEF in two lol. I really dont even use that skill, unless im not being attacked, but then again, even if I dont use a taunt, Im probably still gonna be attacked because of the damage increase.

worst of fighter is when they cant tank... lot of fighter go 2 hand and 2 hand basiqualy useless to other class.... ok ok... not useless but if u have the choice beetween a 1 hand fighter and a 2h fighter in pt which one u choose? the 1h... personally i never go in full pt unless we aoe... mage and archer can just duo with cleric... fighter kinda only have 1 reason to be for us... aoe + tank bosses

Anyways, I think conserving SP and knowing what to use it on is the smartest route. I tend to use a lot of Concussive Charge and the skill that lowers the attack slightly. Other than that I don't really use anything because it'll wipe out my SP and if another mob attacks I won't be able to recover quickly enough.

And on a last note, what Tasuke said...so very true. My main is a bit screwed up because I put a few INT points on her, but I keep her because she's sentimental to me. >.>

The worst of fighters? The ones who didn't build themselves for tanking but are convinced they can. >__< As a cleric, that's just outright stressful and upsetting.

I have a fighter that I'm currently remaking. I just wish weapons cost less. That's all. She's going to be mainly a tank, but I need a 2H when soloing cause LOL a 1H doesn't do enough damage and with all that END, she doesn't seem to need a shield all that much yet. Of course, I'm not one of those idiot-fighters who says they can tank some elite boss without a shield.

I am one of those people who enjoys a really slow grind for more drops and just to let out my irl rage... but fighters get so expensive. xP

So yeah, make it cheaper. Please?
