Outspark launcher wont launch

Hello to all. Im new here and saw this game on the internet for free dowloading and playing. After i dowload the game and installed it it wouldn't launch at all :confused: Error connecting to update server :(10061, connection refused... says the error.
Somebody who can help me out?

Every time I double click on the Fiesta icon it pops an error message that says:

Error Occurred: See the logfile 'C:/Program Files/Outspark/Launcher/outspark.exe.log' for Details.

Ugh, same here. I just reinatalled and then it automatically downloaded the patches and it is happening again.

I reinstalled it too after I kept getting the error message and I still get the message.

really the same keeps hapening to me. i think somethings wrong with the server or something. it's really weird!

Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? It must have something to do with all the patches.

2 things can cause this, and neither of them you can fix - it's code-related.

NoneType.split <- source of the problem

My guess is that:

A) NoneType is being used as a variable as well

or

B) (Pseudo-code to follow)


Whoknows = NoneType.split(Something, "/")

'Something' is not a string

OK. It actually loaded for me now. You actually want those patched to keep on popping up. Once they're done, exit out of the launcher, then get back in the launcher. Now you can log in. Then use your account name on the forums, then you can play. Believe me, I had no idea what I was doing when I started.:D

im having the same problem. im gunna try Shino's solution, but what is "those patched" mean?

Shino's solution didn't work for me. It went through all the patches that kept popping up, but I still get the error message.

Yea. Of course, we're not going to get any replies to this except from people going "help me!!! I CANT LOG ON!!! ERROR ERROR!" and people saying "well ask a GM I'm sure they'll help you"

I've browsed the last 3 pages of this forum because I am having the same problem as the first one listed. What's more, it only does it whenever it wants to. This is what's really angering me, as it usually does it after patches. But sometimes I can just get on again. Sometimes restarting my computer works, but often, not.

What's really annoying me now is the lack of feedback from those who can help us. What's the point of having a troubleshooting thread if you're not going to directly address the player's problems? Yes, you're understaffed. Yes you have lives. But in almost ALL of these posts, there is no solution to anyone's problems!

im pretty sure he meant "those patches" (S and D are next to each other on the keyboard.)

However, they're not patches, they're error messages. If you'll notice, the launcher is trying to connect to the server, but it says Connection refused.

The Logfile doesn't have any type of helpful information whatsoever. It's also a URLOpen error, so I'm expirimenting with it maybe being an Internet Explorer problem. I use Mozilla, and its also my default, but programs Always use IE for patching. Dunno why.

i got the same problem "see the logfile blah blah blah"

but somehow i managed to get the game working,
here's wat i did: and btw i have the installer for both fiesta online and SoS.

-uninstall the game
-reinstall Fiesta Online then let it patch till it says the "see the logfile blah blah blah"
(heres comes the weird part)
-install SoS, while SoS is installing open the launcher for Fiesta and it will surprisingly patch, until u can login.
-if the login button for Fiesta online is clickable now, press control+alt+delete then end process the SoS installing, just keep the end processing til the installing is canceled.

hope it may help, im not 100% sure if this works but my Fiesta online is working fine now.

Ok i fixed the launcher i had to reboot my PC every things works fine now... Accept one thing. When im in game and i want to transport to the forest i get the loading screen... Notice that the lvl never loads ad all :( someone have that to?

Ok, for me I got two problems that I've fixed that have been mentioned in this thread.

Firstly, the "connection refused" error (10061). Although I did not want to, I uninstalled Fiesta. However, you must also delete the directory folder left over.
"C:\Program Files\Outspark" will be left over, and must be deleted. Then reinstall. This will fix the connection error.

However, afterwards, you may get the "missing apps.conf" error in the patch. There are two ways to fix this.

The simplest way is to Right click wherever you open Fiesta. Go to compatibility, and select Windows 2000 as the "run compatible with" dropdown menu. If this does not work, see this thread for full information

Hey I'm very new here. I've just install the game last night. For me, it's no problem, yeah, the installation went smooth and the patches annoyed me once or twice but it went smooth soon after that.

My name's not wrong and my passwords not either. I can launch it, but the new window was blank, zit, nothing, takde!
