Fiesta is broke for me, i dont know why

well, i was having some kind of difficulty loading fiesta... i would click to launch the game, the sign in page would pop up.. id type in my password because the email was saved in, and click log in.

however, it wouldn't load.. the game opened up x-trap game security thing, and wouldn't proceed to the server selection page, i remained at my desktop, i let it sit for a while and yet it still has not loaded.

so i figured, fine ill just remove the game from my computer, and re-download then install, well i go to the website and sign in, then click download and it goes into my download folder's, i click it and open it and it does the downloading process, after about 45 minutes (700 kb/s)'ish the download is completed.

then the installation wizard pops up, after the blue bar gets about 15/16'ths of the way done, i get an error message shown below.

well, after that i guess you can guess what happens next.. the wizard closes and the installation process is canceled.

any idea's how to fix this issue? i miss fiesta :confused:

as an addition to my topic, i deleted all my cookies, ran disk cleanup and, defraged.
it was also uninstalled, and deleted completely from my program files, and downloads, and in temp folders.
the cookies were erased and the hardrive was reorganized.

Does anyone freakin read these?????? Where are the csr forum moderators for the troubleshooting section???? Its been like 3 days and no response?? Least ya can do is get off ur butts and help here!

Would you happen to be using Firefox? I know that sometimes when you double click a file from the little download box in FF it messes up with the installation. All I can really suggest to you is to redownload it to your desktop and try again. Sometimes your internet can have a hiccup and cause your download to mess up. It sucks, but it happens.

It looks like you are incompatible with fiesta. If you can, please post comp specs

I'm sorry I haven't been around. My life has been insane, if I posted what had been happening it'd sound like a really bad made up story. (But it's private)

What most likely happened is Fiesta corrupted as it was downloading. Try a clean download, you can find the how-to in the thread "tried everything? are you sure?" or something along those lines.

Also, I'd send a ticket to the CSR's about this. If what I posted works, they get their data. If what I posted doesn't work, then you get the full resources at their disposal to help you.

well, if that is the case how come all of a suden it stopped working? it was compatible before, im a lv 60 warrior with lv 43 mage and lv 43 cleric, it was compatible before why would it not be now? i ll try what the others are saying about a clean download, thanks for the help guy's it is VERY much appretiated.

also, comp specs = 3 GB of ram 32 bit op system AMD turion 64 duel core processor 2GHz runing on home premium vista model is HP pavolion dv6700 notebook pc
its not the best, but i know it should run fiesta lol because i have ran it before

nope........ was a clean download that time, went through, got the patches... same problem, xtrap loads then the game doesn't open... i don't get it... GRR ><
