Why would I spend any more money on fiesta when I still haven't received extensions on the stuff i used on Friday. I mean seriously. All weekend I was off from work and only time I can play. Then to get a response that they are aware of the situation and working on it?? I seriously thought they had improved their customer relations. But as long as their isnt someone who works weekends for outspark, these issues will always exist. Fiesta is a game that will always be more populated on the weekends when people are out of school and work. I have been around since closed beta and have seen it all. I did take a few months off at 89 cap, hoping things would improve and they surprisingly had, so I had FINALLY started bringing back old friends to fiesta like 2 weeks ago, then this Cypion junk and all we hear is that they are working on it. I dont spend money on fiesta so that my items can just go unused. The item lag we had on Cypion was worse then ANYTHING I had ever experienced on fiesta. I was on Teva through the 3 or 4 emrgency maintenances we had had on that server, and this was by FAR worse then anything I ever experienced there. It was even worse then the Orc spawn fest in uruga and elderine for the monster lag events we used to have. Those were fun, but damn wanna test your graphics card and link? Those were the events to definately test server load. LOL. Well I hope I get an extension, otherwise myself, as well as my friends are probably off to some other mmo. :(

Considering the GMs don't HAVE to do ANYTHING on the weekends, even being acknowledged is a great thing. Not to mention, they come back to work today and have to go through and find out WHY Cypion had issues. You're expecting a fix like 5 hours after they get into work?

Actually no, I am actually expecting/hoping they might actually employ someone weekends for when fiesta has the most volume of people. Lets see Fiesta advertises a few million people play fiesta(slightly exaggerated i think). So if that many people do play fiesta, maybe they can employ someone to work weekends?

And charge more/spam more sc items because they have to pay those employees. Even if they are the ones that are already working and just taking on days of the weekend. And we all know how much we love those sc messages that makes us think OS is just a money hungry machine ;D

Have you ever wondered why F2P MMOs have some sort of P2P features? Because they DO need to pay for staff somehow... If it was truely F2P it wouldn't exist...

The only F2P games that don't need our money are the lil flash ones or ad-filled games that pop up like every 3 minutes. *cough* iwin *cough*

lets not get into "do you have a 9x character" thing for the trilionth time. if you have been around long enough, you would know the last 10 or so levels are significantly harder with each cap. every cap raise, those lvls that were insane grind became easier. there is no "end game" content as of right now, so this is a perfectly good solution that any game developer would agree on.

every free application online has advertisements to pay to keep it running. for a free mmorpg, it is advertisements for cash shop items. play enough free mmorpgs and youll notice every single one of them has some form of advertising. honestly, fiesta's advertising is very tolerable compared to most games i have played.

now, shall we get back to the OP topic?

i understand your frustration. when this lag (for lack of better definition) happened on epith a couple months ago, i use extenders, teva, charms....the works, hoping it would cure my issues of constant deaths and so forth..it only made the situation that much worse lol. i destinctly remember suggesting a weekend exp boost for the affected servers as the easiest solution for compensation, however it didn't happen.

i remember a time, when weekend exp boosts were a common thing. mothers day, exp boost to say thanks to the moms playing...for example. i cant remember the last time we got something appreciative like that...it seems outspark shows thier appreciation by giving us frequent sales on cash shop items..which is biased and unfair to those who dont purchase from the store.

but alas...thats getting off topic again...
