There's something very wrong when a player can't use certain non-offensive words or combinations of words due to the fact that it coincidentally spells out a term that some might find offensive. And to be fair, both the words Butt and *** are in the game, hell ol' grampa in Roumen gives quests with the words *** and butt in them. Let's have an example sentence then what it would look like.

"But that it's a hungery wolf doesn't mean it's a weak wolf."
*In game this would look as follows.
"****ha****'s a hungery wolf doesn't mean it's a weak wolf.
"I need assisstance please"
"I need ****istance please"

"An usual item"
*"****ual item"

What this does isn't so much filter out bad language, as create a cute puzzle game for kids to play. The game is called "Let's find the dirty word" and my little cousin, who I let play for a short while, was quite into it when a mention of Micky Mouse got censored. He had never heard the word Mick used as a derogatory term before, nor have I. In fact, there are people named Micky around my parts.

Let's try another one, this time more obscure and a word that people wouldn't even think about, yet my little cousin managed to guess thinks to the profanity filter.

"Under these circumstances we should head back, I'm bleeding and you're level is too low."
"Under these cir****stances we should head back, I'm bleeding and your level is too low"
Can you guess the naughty word? My 7 and a half year old cousin did. If not for the profanity filter there would be nothing wrong with that sentence, but thanks to it profane words come to everyone's mind. And not just because of frustration.

There's more wrong with the profanity filter. For example, suppose someone types the following.
"assassassass" This translates to "************" but with the swear on the end, which apparently the forums censor too.*

The profanity filter can't even stop people from swearing, if they're determined to. This method works with any swear word. For the sake of all though, I STRONGLY suggest removing the words Tit (mamary area)*Ass (donkey or rude person or posterior)*and Butt (posterior)*from the fulter, and entering exemptions for that one I won't mention (starts with a c and ends with m). Words that naturally contain that configuration of letters shouldn't be filtered.

Why should*TIT (mamary area)*be removed? Because a LOT of words in the english language end with a T or start with IT, and*IT is a word that is often used after words that end with a T.
Why should BUTT (posterior)*be removed? Not only is BUTT not considered profanity in any part of the english speaking word, but any thime the word "BUT" preceeds a word that starts with T, it spells Butt. Hell there are even words that have BUTT in them, like BUTTER.
Why should *** (donkey, mule, rude person, or posterior)*be removed? Because apart from only*referring to a donkey or a mule, a rude person, or the posterior, it is also common in many words, and used in the game itself. ASSIST contains the word ***. AS SHE spells the word ***. AS commonly preceeds many words that start with S, and is also common in other words, such as ASSASSINATE which actually has two times the ***.
Exemptions also*need to be added for other words, and the filter needs to be updated as new combinations of words needed for exemption are discovered. To this end two english speaking individuals should be made to play the game cooperatively*as any beta tester does, refined to text dialogue, and set out to discover word combinations through their text communications with one another during their game*play. Other methods may be even more effective, such as having the entire staff communicate using the profanity filter.
