The problem, Guild tournament is 100% a test of guild power atm meaning 100% of the time the most powerful guild will win.
Possible solution, Add chests, move the buff/debuff system(atk increase ect), add in Ice/ Hammer, or/and add some type of invulnerable
GT system needs balance, seeing the same guild win every week = :(. It should not be 100% about power maybe 70% power 30% luck

That is so true, that's what makes the higher guilds only want to do that kinda stuff.. Really doesn't sound fair for the lowbie guild who think, "Oh, even if we join there would be no fun in it, since we're going to lose anyways.."
So something like that will give courage and the will to the other smaller and weaker guild to have fun in such events.

Would be fun, perhaps even adding some toogle modes for certain things, that guild masters can decide upon. that way we can mix it up and no more complaints from both sides of the fence.

I think it's fine the way it is. Why have a lower status guild come in and face a higher status one and win against it? That doesn't make any sense. This is a Guild Tournament. The most prominent guild should win. Believe me, if the stronger guild were to lose, there would be a large commotion. The GT gives hope to smaller, less prominent guilds that one day, maybe they too can win a tournament. Don't spoil the fun.

Isn't the point of a Guild Tournament to find out which guild is the strongest..? Or at least that's the point of any other tournament I've ever heard of ever in my life...

IMO the point of a tournament is to compete, its seems like its 100% about power at this time. Adding randomizes would make power count 4 less and strategy and luck play a bigger part. Advantage would still go 2 the most powerful but, if the bonuses are used well by a lower power guild then they could still win, not saying 50 1-6x could beat 50 7-9x but maybe 50 5-9x could win against 50 7-9x. the guild tournament system will be unused by 95+% of players left as it is

I thik it's a great idea.... just.. that OS will prob never agree to it.. cuz they want people to BUY BUY BUY SC for the tournament, so putting this in effect would probably reduce the need for SC ._.

(+ OS can only suggest stuff for the game, Ons Ons Soft in Korea actually makes it)
The best solution to me is to suspend ALL SC items.. that will even the playing field

In every game with a guild war system/ territory system there is usually one guild that dominates and the fun part is making a guild that is finally strong enough to take them down, we just have to wait for tons of the population to get to 90+...

If you are not the strongest guild, it gives you reason to aim for that. People expect things to come instantly in this game.........wel breaking news it does not!
Being in a guild is about pulling together and growing strong, and things change thats just life. Look at azumi jmii alot of the members have drifted into other guilds, players have left legendary.
Bottom line is there are alot of guilds that can deal a good hit.

Well i have given it some thought and i might have a suggestion that may even the playing field a little bit.
What if there are more classes of guild tournament for example give it a ranking system ( Novice ect ect)
If a guild in novice class get's a certain amount of wins he will be admitted to a higher rank guild tournament.
If the guild loses too many times in that higher rank they will be demoted back one rank.
With this system there won't be that big of a difference in the guild strenght and the strongest guild can still show that he is the strongest by dominating in the highest rank tournament until another guild beats them.
Dunno it's just an suggestion. Instead of including hammer which many ppl dislike we can keep it to 100% power and still balance it somewhat.

this is a great idea and i would love to see it happen but i think it will stay gt=best and pvp kq not 100% strongest always. right now gt is preety stupid i mean gratz to the one guild on every server that wins every time but realy who cares! if you want gt to be somting more than the 30 people in one guild per server that wins add in chests-hammers make it not all 90+

I think temporarily pausing and disabling all CS items while in the GT would be a better solution.
Shouldn't the GT encourage players to get stronger, in hopes of dethroning the previous champions?
I get squished easy in GT, but it doesn't keep me from enjoying it. I definitely wouldn't like to see a hammer in it.

If the PVP KQ Hammer would be added, it's true, lower lvl guilds would stand a chance but... that wouldn't prove their power, only that they can use the hammer <.< the aim is to see who is the strongest. So it should be good as it is...
also is the 2nd post the OPs alt account? I mean look at it... isn't it strange that someone's very first and only comment is about uberly praising an idea? <_<

Haven't participated in one of these, but I agree with the fact it should show who's the strongest guild. Maybe introduce a level limit as sugested in page 2 cause that sounds great to me. Adding the PVP Hammer won't do much. It will only serve to show who can get it fastest and IF you can keep it. If it would be the exact same system as the PVP KQ, then wouldn't the higher lvl guild get the Hammer if they defeat the lower lvls? o.e

oh ewwww....A PvP Hammer would just ruin everything. It says Guild Tournament --- > not PvP KQ. It costs joining a GT as well...I've been sick of the PvP hammer for a long time and I'd hate to see it in a GT. The GT is simply fun. On Legel we often just enter with two guilds for the fun of fighting e.e ....No fun if someone went berserk with a hammer >_>

I like the idea, but I mean, as a handicap, lol, not as a direct thing, it would be good if those things were availabel to the losing guild in the last minute of their defeat. That way it will be fun but also, fair for the winning guild.

PvP kq and normal PvP is 2 very diffrent things. i am loved by the hammer as much as i love it =D i get it allmost everytime. i kno how 2 use the ice perfektly and use the walls for my advanges 2.
then its no longer wat guild that is the strongest or have most sc. just who is loved enough by the hammer n kno how 2 use it
