hello everyone, i used to play fiesta, but then my comp just kinda crashed, i've been playing browser based games for abit, and to be honest, they aren't exactly entertaining compared to fiesta. recently my brother (a computer genius) decided to do me a big favor and pimp out a computer for me, so in 2-4 weeks, maybe sooner, i will be back online in fiesta starting from scratch. only problem is, i don't know much about the recent upgrades that have been made ingame. when i last played, they were just starting to work on increasing the level cap to level 89.... are archers still considered underpowered by several people? do mages still possess ungodly powerful AoE skills that cause damage over time once they hit level 60? have archers gained anymore direct damage other than power shot and aimed shot? are crossbows still considerably more powerful than bows(i'm talkin actual damage, not by opinion)? have archers gotten anymore pvp skills? last i heard all archers had was a skill at level 60 that made their weapon shoot faster. and what is with the level 100 test, whats the difference between the 2 different archer classes? any info on the other classes would be really helpful, but i'm mostly interested in archer info, and if they fixed the supposed overpowered mage problem everyone used to be droning on about when i last played, i niether agreed or disagreed with it, there were to many points on both sides of the agruement for me to continue to give a dam about the topic after awhile to be honest. again, if someone could give me some info on any of those questions, vote on the poll above, and state your reason for the choice you made, that would be greatly apreciated.

Wow! Block of text...
First, welcome back!
hello everyone, i used to play fiesta, but then my comp just kinda crashed, i've been playing browser based games for abit, and to be honest, they aren't exactly entertaining compared to fiesta. recently my brother (a computer genius) decided to do me a big favor and pimp out a computer for me, so in 2-4 weeks, maybe sooner, i will be back online in fiesta starting from scratch. only problem is, i don't know much about the recent upgrades that have been made ingame. when i last played, they were just starting to work on increasing the level cap to level 89....
Cap is now 105 and classes are branched at 100.
are archers still considered underpowered by several people?
By many, yes.
do mages still possess ungodly powerful AoE skills that cause damage over time once they hit level 60?
Yep. And after 100, one of the mage sub-classes can summon skeletons.
have archers gained anymore direct damage other than power shot and aimed shot?
A few new skills. The niftiest is after 100, one of the archer sub-classes can hide.
are crossbows still considerably more powerful than bows(i'm talkin actual damage, not by opinion)?
Yes, crossbows still have higher dmg and crit, but less aim.
have archers gotten anymore pvp skills?
After 100, sure.
last i heard all archers had was a skill at level 60 that made their weapon shoot faster. and what is with the level 100 test, whats the difference between the 2 different archer classes? any info on the other classes would be really helpful, but i'm mostly interested in archer info, and if they fixed the supposed overpowered mage problem everyone used to be droning on about when i last played, i niether agreed or disagreed with it, there were to many points on both sides of the agruement for me to continue to give a dam about the topic after awhile to be honest. again, if someone could give me some info on any of those questions, vote on the poll above, and state your reason for the choice you made, that would be greatly apreciated.
Fighters were overpowered, then they weren't and now they are. Mages have good skills.

If you're concerned about being underpowered, you're really stuck with playing either a fighter or a mage. Clerics are still more underpowered than archers. As for builds and empowerments, you should head to the class discussion forums: http://outspark.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23

omfg, clerics are more underpowered than archers???? when did this happen???? wow, i've been gone to long O_o and i think i'm goin with mage, i've always been a good damage dealer, and i can tank good too, but i've tried a full end fighter up to lvl 45 on this game, and its just not my thing. besides i'm kinda spiritual, and being a mage would better reflect that ingame, and ofcorse, i love the shiny skills O.O

The only time, ever, that I've known clerics to be powerhouses was Closed Beta and the first Open Beta cap. From the 79 cap onwards, clerics became less and less of an offensive class and were relegated to support. Yes, there are exceptions to that statement, but even those exceptions have to work fairly hard to stay exceptions.

yeah, clerics don't have many offencive skills, thats expected tho right? i mean they are a support class. fighters are meant to be tanks, mages supply direct damage, archers poison everything, and clerics heal and buff people. doesn't mean they are underpowered, i refer to archers as underpowered because they were cheated out of their rightful position as DoT gods right when frost nova and inferno were added to the game.

In other versions of Fiesta, clerics have more attacks, including an AoE attack. Also, Trip and Bleed have status effects in other versions.
An archer auto-attacking a mob will typically kill it faster than the same level cleric attacking the same level/type of mob.
Mages are designed to be nukes; archers not nearly as much. Am I saying that it's fair archers have such a hard time? By no means. But archers have not been the only nerfed class.
