Three days ago I was playing fiesta and I noticed I could not turn in some quests that would get my archer to level 57. I asked other people and they said they had not had this problem, so I decided to delete fiesta and reinstall it. When I deleted fiesta everything was running fine but then once I started to reinstall fiesta, everything started to get delayed on my computer and freeze up. After of hours while the game kept freezing and the game finally got to the installshield wizard to finish downloading fiesta. Then it gave me the message " The version comparison failed. The setup will now terminate."

I've looked at several of other threads posted in the troubleshooting section and nothing I try seems to work.

I've tried backing my system up to before I deleted, then it the launcher seems to run fine so then I try to log in. Once I enter my spark ID and password the Xtrp thing pops up, then it disappears and I get the message "The system cannot find the file specified.", then I click okay and it closes.

Now when I try to delete fiesta through the control panel I get message saying that " An error(-5005 : 0x80070002) has occured while running the setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Outspark (##ID_STRING7##)."

Can someone help me out I have tried getting this game to work for three days now with no success. I am really starting to get annoyed and frustrated now.

I'm trying to uninstall a corrupt fiesta file through the control panel but it wont let me. It gives me the screen bellow. Can some one help me get rid of the file?

Go to your program files, and delete Fiesta from there.

You can also contact the CSR's - http://outspark.custhelp.com/app/ask

I did a system backup to get all my fiesta files back, and run the game. The game downloads the new patch and everything feels like it will work now. Then I get the message bellow. >.<

The topic of the box is: "Application Initialize Error!

The info inside the box says: Input Initialize fail!

I have been trying to get fiesta to work now for four days, I am getting really annoyed and irritated.

^_^ At about 10 days you'll reach the point I was at when I was trying to get Fiesta to work.

http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108359

Try reading that, and following the steps.

You've corrupted by the way, and so for your clean download I strongly recommend you try the steps above ^_^

I can't delete fiesta in the control panel I still get that message. =\ Even when I go to start fiesta is there but it doesn't say anything about uninstalling, so I can't follow that chart you gave me. =\

Ok, since you can't go into the control panel, go into your program files, and remove Fiesta from there. Then go into your directory (CAREFUL NOW!) and remove Fiesta from there as well. Then clear your temp. history, and your download history, and try again. Then try downloading it again.

Okay I went to program files and clicked uninstall but when I do a box pops up saying "Aborting patch. Could not find the apps.conf file at: C:\ProgramData\ApplicationData\Outspark"

I just want to get on my mage and try the new dungeon now, this is torture LOL.

You want to delete the entire Outspark folder, and re-download it from the site.

Getting a picture, just for you: http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/5698/outsparklocation.jpg (http://img269.imageshack.us/i/outsparklocation.jpg/)

Well it didn't go so well, I deleted everything I could find fiesta related under computer and documents. The fiesta icon in control panel is the only thing left, but I can't get rid of it. When I downloaded fiesta I get the message bellow.

Have you sent a ticket to the CSR's, and looked through the knowledge base yet?

Well I managed to fix and reinstall the game in a weird way. I created a new account that I made an admin, then I went to the control panel and I was able to delete the fiesta file that was there. So now the game runs. Now all I have to do is figure out why my computer keeps stalling the way it is. It never did this beore I tried to reinstall fiesta. What happens is that I will be fine and able to click on the internet site/fiesta game/ and things on my start menu ect., but I only have 20 seconds, then it freezes for about 3 minutes. I'm going to try to run the CCleaner again to fix this, but idk if that will even work. This just makes me feel that I should not have deleted fiesta to reinstall it in the first place because it ran fine, it was just bugged quests I couldnt turn in. Well thank you sakura you have been a big help. =]

*facepalm*

Reinstalling Fiesta most likely won't solve that problem...... @_@.
