Thank you all who nominated who you thought was fit for the role of being a Hero of Xen! Now heres the fun part, VOTING TIME! Please vote for who you think is elgible to be a Hero and protect all from evil.

Please take into consideration when voting that the Heroes of Xen should be balanced as a team as they will need to take on Alastor and his treacharous army sometime soon. The top 5 players who get the most votes will be our official Heroes of Xen!

Obviously this is a sucky way to nominate the heroes of xen. ._. I'm sorry but it is. Anyone can bribe/ask people to vote them. In the end it's a popularity contest.

They could've turned this into a proper event. Pvp battles, how well they handle themselves out on the field and have someone "follow" (Stalk) them for a period of time to see how they socialize with the community and all. The ones with the best results of course would win, and therefore be announced a Marian/Adeline hero.

LOL, i'm up there and I completely agree with you. This is a really low tech way of preforming something that is actually worth being good for. The real "heros" of this game are known to a lot in game, but aren't really givin prestige. This could be a way to really glorify those that actually do nothing but help others, but I'd agree with Quazzie, this is really a shiny version of a popularity contest. Still, game is game I guess, go everyone up there, and that includes myself I guess lol xD

Well, realistically, Outspark doesn't have the staff to do something like that. Follow someone around all day? And we all know that PVP events don't prove anything, whoever has the most SC will come out on top usually. There will never be a perfect system for choosing a hero.

Anyway, I think all the candidates for Marian are great choices, and I definately wouldn't complain in this instance. Four of the five I would've picked are in the running and I think that's great. Talk to some Adeline players and you'll find that they aren't as happy with their selection.

It may seem like a cop out, but I'd agree with both of you. Outspark's resources probably don't expand far enough to enlist a program like that, but at the same time, god that would make it more fun. Honestly, I'd liek to see a far different system used for the next one, should and if it comes around again, though I can't say for certain what.

In things like online gaming and such, things like this are always a popularity contest. The ones that have made a name for themselves will ALWAYS be chosen over others; that's just how it is and always will be no matter if there are a better player than others or not.
