I want new classes D:

I was seeing so many games get cool classes and i want Fiesta to add a rogue and another class... Please post some classes that you guys think would be cool.

Uh well, OutSpark (OS) isn't a big huge gaming company like say, Bioware, or WoW. Which, have in fact, added and dismissed classes. OS is actually only a host company for the game Fiesta which is made by OnsOnSoft (OOS).

The likelihood of them ever adding another class is... well... nonexistent.

OS has not said anything about that yet but they said on the blog that they will release the mini house system in 2009(which is about to end).They didn't mention anything about it on the development page either.Hope they keep their promise ...

and as for the houses - i'm seeing it again - "they said it will be released this year", "but there's only 2 months left, they lied" (cause in the next two months nothing will happen)

actually a dagger is about the only thing a rouge could use other then maybe a bow but as you said thats what thy have archers for. how ever a rouge can wield TWO daggers at once. not to mention the nifty little hide skill (refuring to a different game). Rouges are more or less assassins in which thy are very strong (like your fighter) but EXTREMELY weak. thy have little to no defense so there defense is worse then a Mages (feel lucky mages and archers. your not the weakest class in the gaming word lol). anyways the only good thing about a rouge is that there able to wield two daggers and thy have a few nifty skills like say back stab (in a different game it can 1hit KO if it comes from behind the mob/player). there hide skill is nifty when dealing with a large group of mobs also there purity darn fast which gives them the fastest attack speed in the gaming world.

but your right. a boomerang and the same with a gun would be lame. how ever a dagger would actually be slightly useful to a mage do to sometimes thy can decrease casting time (or so iv heard).

they are, indeed, a hybrid character that would utilise skills from pretty much all 4 existing classes
so really, when peopel say they want a new class that's a rogue, what they are really saying is they want less classes, as the others would become obsolete

well if i were to chose to ask for any other class. it would be a defender. defenders were woul made to do nothing absalutly nothing other then take damage. half the fighters iv seen in the game now a days have no friggen idea how to tank or even play there class in general. for example. i was hanging out in front of the tower in FoM just chatting with a few friends when a ratmen fighter started chasing me. (now i'm a level 21 mage and i could have taken care of it easily ut i wanted to check on something). no one in the big group came to help me because thy knew my level and knew i could take care of it with the exception of one fighter who actualy thought i needed help. well anyways i ran away from the mob and let it chase me.........2 hours latter.......the ratmen fighter is still chasing me and the fighter is still chasing it. now i checked the fighters level before hand and hes a level 22 fighter so i know for a fact that he has the kick skill. now this could mean one of two things. 1) hes a noob (which is likely). 2) the guy had no friggen idea what he was doing. now this hasn't happened the first time. this has actually happened several times to my mage so i know it can't be a fluke. also i ran in to a mage who had no idea how to build it. +6 END? come on. all Mages need (stat wise. i'm not talking about gear or anything like that) is INT and SPR right? this guys build was all over the place. anyways i thought i would throw that in to give everyone a laugh cause i shure has heck laghed my butt off when the fighter chased me around the map for a good 2 hours with out kicking the mob or anything.

I actually really like the 4 classes! It gives me time to work on one and sooner or later end up having a character for each 4 classes! I love how they made it that why. I personally wouldn't be able to keep up with more classes. It would confuse me even more because there is also other servers you can go to and start fresh. Although for me I will be having the same character name if I ever did server jump.
REASONS WHY I LIKE 4 CLASSES:
- Simple.
- Clean.
- Gives time for you to play all 4 classes.
- And they do seem as if they are the main races.
CONCLUSION:
I love it! Tehe! My first online game and I'm not going to complain. I think it's great!

Seems as though it would be useless in this game.
I would come up with a list of classes I wish for but as Bobbi stated they would be hybrids. And the only reason I want a hybrid is because my character is only good for one thing...healing.

So what new classes would I want?
A revamping of the archer and cleric classes.

We have damage sponges already (fighters), healers, magic DD's, and archers for DoT/soloing. Where would another class fit into the scheme? At high enough levels and with the right armor/build all classes can already tank or solo depending on what they want to do.

If wanted something fun, I don't know add a beast class or something. Say maybe a werewolf, it could have insane damage but low def/m.def/eva. I suppose "weapon" choices/skills would have to be based upon teeth/claws. I don't play or check out other MMOs so I don't know if this is already in some game. Just something different than the typical rogue/ninja suggestion, I am in no way being serious with this.

I think people are fascinated with rogues due to the twinks in WoW. Rogues are THE MOST OP class ever. Once you give a class the ability to mvoe while unseen it becomes OP. Especially since they normally have a FAST attack rate, sometimes poisons, and normally a way to incapacitate their target. I bet IF Fiesta ever made a Rogue (which to ME we already have, Ranger anybody?) all of the mage/fighter PKers would sell their gear and make a Rogue...

pve wise, rogue is completely useless...as for gankin in pvp zones, nothin can compare to them

invisi + use of skills while staying invisi + high dmg output/crit rate = rogue class
theyre pretty much melee glass cannons with archer-like assassination skills

Rather than more classes, perhaps after the level cap is raised they could come out with another class split like this.
Fighters Iron Defender, Mystic Defender, Barbarian, Dark Knight
Clerics Holy Crusader, Holy Defender, Bishop, White Mage
Mages Warlock, Black Mage, Elementalist, Wizard
Archers Sharpshooter, Rogue, Sniper, Hunter
get the basic picture? this takes the previous classes and either the user can choose to go the more physical aspects pertaining to the class, or go the more magical route.

There are about 2000000 classes in fiesta. Change your builds. Make a dex, 1h, max cd/power on skills fighter and boom, you got a rogue that isn't as OP as a real one.

since archers dex is pretty pityful ( my fighter matched it only 3 lvls higher) i say we make a ninja class ALL dex and second would be end your weapons include
1-20 kunai
20-100 katana or your second choice knife
100+ Claw would be the strong one sickle would be the quick one
and classes would go such as
ninja 1-20
shinobi 20-105
samurai 105+/ assassin 105+

skills include
3-kunai throw=throw your kunai at your target for a distance attack
5-senbon = stun your target for 1-5 seconds depending on distance from target
7-barrage = throw 60 shuriken in the air damaging surrounding targets ( would hit 5 at max and since its a weak lvl would hurt BARELY but gets stronger on class and depending weapon)
9-stealth = increases DEX and lowers spr
and thats just for starters of my class i hope they impliment...i mean really if they can put the costume in the shop and i know it sells greatly i see ppl wearing it all the time a ninja class would be a EXCELENT edition to the classes WHENEVER they can add it ...i WILL be makeing a post of this new class idea soon once i get the requred data and pictures...peace

If you want to see what else is coming up in the game spend time researching what is in Korean Fiesta that we don't have yet, cause I gaurantee you we won't be getting something they don't have.

Rogues also have another tactic I've not read mentioned here: They can 'pick pocket' other players. Many people choose to create at least one rogue in other what someone called 'mediocre' games (I tend to think they're all pretty good but chose to play Fiesta instead of forking out yet another $100 in CD's just to upgrade to a downgrade.)

The purpose for creating at least one rogue is to attempt to recapture an item another player has stolen from you. Yes, they have sneak, back-stab, etc., but in that environment the dexterity would have to work. And, as we all know, those of us who have build a total DEX-based archer, its pretty much worthless in this game. So, the point is mute. A rogue wouldn't work in Fiesta. :rolleyes:

Why can't we have a class system like FFXI's class system? as i would be playing that game, except for the fact of a new update that made you have to have Verified Visa or Mastercard's Securecode.
Also the fascination with the rogue class is wery simple it's the one class that is very popular from other games and this is as far as i know the only game lacking it. Heck even in FF1 there were six classes!
very sad how this game turned out, as i would expect at least six basic classes which are Fighter, Monk, Thief, White Mage, Red Mage and Black Mage.

Fiestas Class system doesn't lack in anyway possible cuz you can build your char however you wanna build it.

"God" Class, you can 1 hit everything and have 10-2389120392013812mil hp and 1823617863812312738123 def, and every skill is an aoe thts auto cast/no cd.
