Why do fighters usually think that stun equals taunt??
While I was doing KQ, I liked to use stun because it really help, but other fighters always told me not to use stun.
They think stun will turn the boss to you.
Also, I met some fighters who don't have kick(taunt); they just use stun to replace kick, and cause boss to go wildly.
In my understanting, the boss go wildly because the tanker didn't keep using kick and someone did the most dmg, so they turn to him.
Its not because fighters who stun behind the boss.
Of course, there are some exceptant situations such as the final boss of gold hill KQ who like to stun tankers then turn to other players.
Am I wrong??

People tell you not to bash a boss during KQ because it causes the boss to stun the primary tank, not because they think it's a taunt. While the tank is stunned, the boss could get aggroed and attack everyone else, causing a mess. I don't know of anyone who considers the stun a taunt. Perhaps you should just chill until you level up and are around more experienced players? I'm assuming these people you're describing are very new to the game.

lol what? stunning the boss or not doesnt cause him to stun, Some kq bosses have their own personal stun like Marlone. They dont shoot it off because a player is doing it to them they do it no matter what.

i agree with the second post, it's not about more damage, but when you stun the boss, after it wakes up, it'll go straight for the person who does the next hit, eg a mage/archer, it will run around causing a mess.

So best is to just keep it unstunned, and let the main tanker keep his aggro.

I have no idea where you people come up with this, but you're completely wrong. Please don't give this kind of advice. You're ignorant of how the game and aggro works, in general.

Aggro builds up and cumulates. If you constantly kick/mock, like any tank worth a damn will do on a boss fight, being stunned will NOT cause the boss to go elsewhere. The reason a boss changes targets is because the former MT decided not to kick, and instead rely on their constant/fast 1.1 sec delay sword damage and stuns. This is simply poor tanking.

Anyone that tells you not to stun a boss is, without a doubt, clueless.
