I'm having a similar problem.

After patching, I am alerted to an error and promted to view the log file you just listed.

Open the log file and look at the error description. Maybe this will help you figure out your problem. I am going to continue searching the forums for an answer and maybe try re-installing.

My log tells me:

I just came across an ad for it and decided to check it out.
I've maxed out my character in WoW and I'm looking for something else to play around with between raids and other events.

From what I can tell, this game seems to be aimed at incorporating elements from Diable II (playstyle/combat), WoW (crafting/secondary professions), and Maple Story (job classes, overall style).

Prova ad andare nella cartella dove hai installato il gioco e cancella la cartella "launcher"

e poi scarica il gioco un'altra volta, oppure se hai gia il file d'installazione e' meglio!


Installa un'altra volta il gioco, ma su un'altra desti****one, tipo il desktop e
una volta fatto, copia e incolla la cartella "launcher" del nuovo gioco, nella cartella del vecchio gioco.
Prova a far partire il file "outspark.exe" che si trova nella cartella "launcher" che hai appena copiato!
e voila' cominciera' a fare un'altra volta tutti gli upgrade e sara' pronto per giocare!

dopodiche' puoi cancerllare il gioco che hai installato sulla scrivania senza problemi.

vBulletin sometimes glitches and doesn't send out the email.
However, I see that you attempted via multiple accounts.
Since that's the case, I think the email is getting marked as spam. Make sure you check your spam folder in case the server doesn't delete spam messages.

when this all first started happening to me last night i check outspark and the whole outspark server was not functioning. none of their websites would respond at all and as the night when on i got different messages when trying to access it and now it's back up, so that shows they are working on things, but this is a huge issue for them obviously.

Sounds like you might not have enough hard drive space. Not sure though.

Check how much space you have available on your hard drive.
Also, if you have not seen the minimum requirements for Fiesta, please read them.

I have checked everything and I have plenty of space left. I also have everything that is needed to play this game. I used to play the game every day. It stopped when everything was updated. can you check out that screen. It has nothing to do with memory. that the first 3 boxes are not able to check off. Hello! I just downloaded the game (and the patch), but it says I can't connect to the download server. It tries five times, then just sits there until you close the launcher. It then says to check the C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe.log. At the log, it says:

hey Bhujerba...try down clocking your CPU a tad maybe...not sure if it will work or maybe use the "Run AS..." when you right click the shortcut, where you can run it as another "task" like WIN 95, well for Windows based OS anyway....just a thought...not tried it but that MAY help....dunno worth a shot.

:eek::p;):D:):cool:well this game has taught me so much. this was a hard one to figure out. Guess What. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am disabled with MS and cant walk but I tried to do the jig lol
There was a couple of issues vista did not like to run the game with directx 10 so No I have the version 9 and the version 10/ I went to my deyice manager and desabled one and ran the other one and that fixed the graphic pictues I would not git. Next I went on line and googled free zip programs. I found a great one 7zip/ I downloaded the game to my downloads not the desktop. It took awhile so I knew I was on the right tract lol;When it was downloaded I right clicked the outsparkfieata and ectracted the files with 7zip' Then I opened it as asministrator and it worked. did not need any patched or any other problems it was great. I feel like having a party, lets all have a party. I hope this will help others and I hope that Terranwolf reads this I did it all by my self wow and I am blond too. Now I have alot of catching up to do that is for sure thanks to all of you who have tried real hard o figure this one out Im passing out drinks of your choice lol lets all meet somewhere and have fun wohoooooo!!!!!!!!!

I have used fiesta before but my dad deleted it and it and when I tried re-installing it came up with the error when i tried to run it.
I have tried renstalling ALOT but it still wont work,

I'm having a similar problem.

After patching, I am alerted to an error and promted to view the log file you just listed.

Open the log file and look at the error description. Maybe this will help you figure out your problem. I am going to continue searching the forums for an answer and maybe try re-installing.

My log tells me:

After attempting GM suggestions and patches, thoroughly reading other users posts and trying various ways to start the launcher I've concluded that there is a coding error that "conflicts" with Windows Vista and the latest Outspark laucher.

Vista is extremely strict regarding what it allows to write on your "C:" drive. Initially, when installing Secrets of Solstice the launcher automatically starts as part of the installation process. It goes through about an hours worth of updates and then you're ready to play. Once you close that launcher, you can no longer open it again because it isn't tied to the installation process anymore, which is the only way Vista allowed it to run.

The only work around is to uninstall Secrets of Solstice (hopefully you've saved the download on your computer) and then reinstall it again. Having to do this EVERY single time you want to run the launcher is rediculous, thus, the only suggestion is the leave the launcher screen open at all times. Never select the exit game option.

I'm no coding guru of any sort, but I am very good with computers and also quick on the up take when an obvious problem is present. I own a desktop PC that runs Windows XP and I have NEVER had a problem running Secrets of Solstice. The problem only occurs on Windows Vista (my laptop). It is up to the coding experts of Outspark to figure out the exact settings they need to incorperate in the launcher code so that it does not conflict with Windows Vista.

(Urlopen Error 10035: The socket operation could not complete without blocking)"

If there is some online Fiesta bug encyclopedia that has all the errors stated, please tell me where.

After the launcher states that is has retried 5 times, the bar says "Completed updating fiesta."

Looks very promising, but instead...

The "Network connecting error" comes up again.

Then the bar states "Unable to connect to server. (Retrying 2 of 2)..."

So when I close the launcher another window pops up, stating :

"Errors occured"

The logfile 'C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe.log' could not be opened:
[Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\Program
Files\\Outspark\\Launcher\\outspark.exe.log'

I could play Fiesta yesterday, so I dont see why I can't today unless an update was made or something.

Please help. I have no idea what is wrong, unless disabling User Account Controls made it that way. It's irritating to have to click on "Allow Program" everytime I want to start Fiesta just because it has "Unidentified Publisher".

my problem is making me mad just because i don't know what my problem is i start launcher put in email bla bla bla ... login nothing o.k. go brows web then bam launcher is back i will do this several time till i get frustrated and play another game i have the requirement i play cod 4 and wow and they got a lot better graphic my connection is great because i will be on the web and not disconnected and i got all the patches

Help! I get the error message "see the logfile 'c:\program files\outspark\launcher\outspark.exe.log' for details" when I attempt to open the launcher to login and play.

Upon reinstallation, the game launcher runs everytime until the launcher is exited. When I close the launcher and try to open the launcher to play the game again, I receive the same error message. I can only play again after the long reinstallation of game and patches, still doomed to never be able to close the launcher without repeating the reinstallation process

The only work around that I have found is to never close the launcher, but even if my computer didn't update and restart automatically, this seems to be a little unrealistic.

Is there any help for this topic?

So i'm running it on Vista.....The only solutions i've been able to come up with are:

1) Uninstall and then reinstall Fiesta...it opens the Launcher box just fine....just NEVER exit it. Once you exit it, you will have to re-install it again. T__T

2) Install the manual launcher patch and it will open the Launcher box again. Just DO NOT EXIT OUT.

I am having my boyfriend come see if he might be able to figure something else out...since it seems that no one here that is affiliated with the game is doing anything to fix it.

Luckily for few, it all installs properly at the start, and the game may launch, however the user may run into crashing issues, and then never being able to open the launcher ever again, unless manual torture is undergone.

This program so far, has slowed my computer, conflicted with every known software to Vista, and has only successfully ran once, for a period of 10 minutes, before it crashed and locked up my entire PC, at which point I had to affect the health status of my computer by force-shutting it down. Not once, not twice, but three times.

After every attempt to download and install the new patch, I continuously get the error every one so consistently endures when attempting to play this game. Oh. What's this? Haha. So coincidental. I just finished RE-DOWNLOADING / INSTALLING the game for the fourth time, and at installation finish, I once again get the launcher error. Enlightenment ever so craved in this moment. Enlightenment and reason to people's stupidity.

Seriously, the moderators who partake in a community like this should feel ashamed of themselves for only being able to assist members with forum technical problems, and hearsay manual instructions, put together by the air-headed translators of this ironic fiasco.

There is absolutely no reason or meaning to the lifespan of this technical issue. The fact that since NOVEMBER 2007 this issue has not been corrected, is just plain absurd. I don't feel like reading all of the posts about this problem so please sum up everything that is going on into one very concise post for me to evaluate.

I completely understand what you're saying about the service, I'm really surprised nothing has been done about this.

anyway, Post what is happening, what you have done to try to correct the problem and your system specs and I'll try to handle it for you.

P.S. If you reinstall the game once and it doesn't fix the problem, downloading it 3 more times isn't going to do a damn thing.

The System specs seem fine, The only thing I'm worried about is Vista, I know that Fiesta has some problems with it, but hopefully if that is the case we can work around it...

I accidently annihilated it again. Re-installing the game, so I'll get the full error. The error is similar to everyone else's I've seen, or the majority's.

Yeah I just went through like 7 pages of codes that everyone posted and there seem to be a lot of different problems...

I didn't go through every page, so I don't know everything that was tried but here are some things you could try really quick:

1. Run Fiesta with administrator rights (This really shouldn't do anything, because only X-Trap needs to be run w/admin rights and the error doesn't look like it's coming from X-trap, but try anyway...)

2. Manually install the patch (Which I'm sure you did)
3. install the "Launcher Fix" thing (Which I'm sure you did)
4. if you could ever run Fiesta, sys restore your computer to a time that you could.

and that's all that I can think of off the top of my head... Post the error and we'll see what else we can do.

Edit:

This seems to only be happening with Vista users... I'm thinking that the game is trying to reference some file or piece of data that is used with windows XP and NT etc... Not 100% sure though...

I'm barely able to reach the patching part, as I haven't been able to successfully re-install the game yet. I presume there's something far worse going on with my system, as most of my windows are locking up, and using task manager to close them doesn't seem to be working. Whole system's running extremely sluggish. Hell, even after all the Norton fixes, defrags, system scans and cleansing.

4th reboot. Finally able to install...

Windows Explorer stops working on me, and gets terminated automatically for a period ...

I re-installed it, and the launcher actually opened this time.

Nah. Never wanted Vista to begin with, but my older PC's died, didn't want to pay for replaced motherboards and powersupplies, and was looking for something portable, preferably not for heavy gaming, but here I end up playing games again. (Apparently all laptops at my retailers were strictly Vista operative systems, and would've been too costly to purchase "downgrade/UPgrade" to Windows XP)

However, the Launcher is open. Wouldn't recommend I install/update anything, eh?

Unfortunately, what happened, was what happened earlier, and I wasn't sure what caused it to begin with, but what would happen, is the game would lock up and freeze, and then my entire screen would go black. That's when I had to force-shutdown the computer ... simply because ALT + F4, CTRL + ALT + DEL, never worked.

Just happened again. At the the login screen. LOCK + Black screen = trapped. I'll try the patch, but it seems there's another issue not explored ...

Wow, I think it's hilarious, tbh. One unmovable, impenetrable wall[Launch error] moved from my path on its own, only for another[System lock up] to take its place. Stuff's never ending.

Well, If you want to get really technical you can do the following:

Partition your hard drive so you can install windows XP Home Edition, download the following pgm to do so easily:

And then if you have a floppy drive and a floppy disk you can set up windows XP using bootable floppy disks by download the following program:

But that could end in a bad situation and I don't recommend it...

It has literally been months since I've been able to play fiesta. =/ It's really pissing me off. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing quite a few times. And I've actually just went and deleted EVERYTHING outspark related on my computer. XD So I'll try re-installing it now and if that doesn't work, them I'm at a total loss. However this did happen to my friend while he was running his XP, the only way he got it to work again was to do a master reboot to his computer. Which I really don't want to do.

But if so many people are having this problem, then why can't they fix it? O-o;
