...may be in for a bit of a wait; for many reasons.
After giving it some thought, I decided that using an axe to kill BK before 70 (while still fun and I still may try to do) does not suit the spirit of the thread (after all, true tanks use shields). Thus I regret to say that CKL will not be soloed for this series of threads below 70 (the 60 1h sword just can't hit for enough damage without a SC item or really good STR set gear).
However, due to the new ugliness of the +8 shields (wings have been removed and replaced with 2 red wavy lines...the old +7 look) and the increasingly disgusting visual effects given to the +9 shields, Ao will no longer be equipping his shield until either a) the look is returned, or b) +10 shields come out and I get one of those (it can't look worse than the current +9s, right?) :mad:
So for the time being, the Tanker Style threads are again halted :(.
To those that looked forward to seeing the arrogant little guy get beat up and down dungeons and fields by mobs bigger than him: sorry...but really, the point of the +8 shields was for the look..now no shield has that flair of the old +8s, so walking around with a shield has just...lost some of that which made it interesting.
To those that are glad for the cessation of the Tanker Style threads because you don't like me and think the threads are boring: stop reading my threads :D
Well...guess I'll end this one for now. See you guys in random threads that I invade out of boredom
