Yup, once again another new player graces the board of Fiesta!
I'm Mel, as you can see, & have some time on my hands to..willingly waste!

Problem? I'm still so horribly new that not only do I look like a newb, I'm quite as confused as one! I've been playing since yesterday & have managed to get up to lv. 13 (Soon to be lv. 14) I got the basics down -to a point- but still am getting lost & even more confused.

Anyone willing to help me out a little? Show me the ropes?

Hey Mel, I'm Kat. :)

Welcome to the land of Iysa, things can be a little confusing at first. There's a few things you can do to get used to the gameplay:

-The quests you receive for the first few levels will walk you through some of the basics in Fiesta.

-There's also a couple features that could really benefit you at your level. One of these is the Guild Academy (Speak to the Guild Manager to join one). Each guild sets up the reward system for their own academy, but most of them offer money and item rewards for each level you gain. In addition, you and the guild all receive a guild buff when you level. This will give you access to higher players that can help answer your questions.

-Another feature is the Monarchy system, also known as the Master/Apprentice system. You can ask a higher level player to be your master. You receive rewards every 10 levels, and again have access to someone who's been around a while that can answer your questions. The Master, in return, gets a portion of the money you spend at NPC's each time you play.

Of course, you can also ask questions on the forums...or browse some of the guides that players have created on here. And of course, you're always welcome to PM me if you have any other questions!

Hope to see ya in game ;D

Well thank you Celtic Princess!
I've done most of the lower Lv. Quests :) I have a few in progress right now!
& I've heard of the Master/Apprentice deal but I dunno how I'd go about doing that! haha

& I joined one Guild, but they don't offer any type of prizes :/ I might need to join a new one. haha

but thank you for the warm welcoming! I hope to see you in game too!

its much easer to get real time advice from a higher lvl player. on your server look for some1 with like 3k+ hp and they should b high enough to help u in real time

You can ask someone to be your master by right clicking them and selecting "Invite Master".

Also, Guilds and Guild Academies are different. Academies offer rewards for each level up to (I believe) 50, whereas guilds are mostly social. Most people join a guild after they have graduated from a guild academy so that they can continue to receive guild buffs.

What server did you end up joining?

Yea, that's what I've been trying to do. :) My serve is...dead I guess you could say. :)
Not many users. I can't remember what it's called, at the moment. BUT it's the one with less users. hahah
I should switch servers as to get more experience etc etc. :/

the server your on is still kinda new, so there wont be much activity as comparison to Apoline, Teva, or Bijou. Apoline is the most populated server there is. at your lvl make sure to get into Slime Counter Attack KQ, that will help you alot along with the numerous quests you get. getting to your 1st character promotion at 20 is a big challenge for 1st timers. get to know some well experienced people and they'll help you all the way.

for future Referance:

Bijou IS the most highly-populated forum-suing server.

I'd reccomend Bijou, I'll even give you a tour :)

Yea, I saw that my server was a tad bit newer then the others that they have listed. It's alright though, I guess it means less lag. hahah I mean my computer is fast but even when it's loaded with other players does it lag a little.
Lag = bad.
& I've heard of those KQ things, just never entered one. haha I guess I should start thinking of that after all.
& I'm so close to being Lv. 16 now & thus far haven't had to many problems with lv. up & I already know where I have to go in order to do that Challenge at 20. :3
I might just remake my character on another server so I can find higher lv players to finally GET somewhere rather then just wing it & go by myself. haha

well getting started playing this game is kinda hard i mean once you hit 20 thinks get really hard for people who arn't used to long hours on the computer but in time you'll get better it just takes a bit of time and to past time try to make friends with people and party and quest it makes thing easier and you get a bit more exp at your lvl and make sure you know how to make the right build without you become weak so make sure you find one you like or ask others for a guild build but make sure to no use the builds like pure end you will do not dmg even with axe so picking a build is important so make sure you pick the right one since theres over 100s you can make one or ask someone else for theres but other then that i hope you enjoy the game and have fun with it

Right now I'm trying to find a decent server with some Higher Lv. Characters so I can make the right decisions D: In two different servers I've made characters & Only the first one did I make any friends or get anywhere. lol
So far, I like the Archer :3 I like the long distance attacks.
I'm just lost on the other ability's/skills & what not. I've tried to read the tutorials & guides but I get lost!
hahaha
That & I don't want to go up to some player whose done this longer then I have & ask for help.
Seems some of them are rather rude D: Not all, but ones I've come across. haha
I'm like, "Alright I'll just stay away from you, you, you, Oh & you too..you seem mean." XD
