Refining

does anyone know any secrets to refining weapons/armour, if so, plz share, cuz i suck at enhancing

Well, if this helps..

Lucky elrue/lix/xir has a better chance of succeeding an upgrade and it might upgrade 2 times.

Blessed elrue/lix/xir has a better chance of protecting your item from breaking.

Although it isn't a surefire thing, keep your eyes open for patterns when plussing your weapons. I sometimes can 4-5 in a row without a fail in one spot, or two.

Generally the bottom corners and the top-most box are my lucky spots, but I've used stones in all areas. There are visible patterns though - even if it is totally random I think you have a better chance following a pattern than not.

But then again, I've only gotten to +8.

ive noticed that if i put my elrue in the top left box, i can get it to +3 most of the time, but i cant really get in any higher. and with me, nothing protects my item from breaking :p

um....using red eye from the fiesta store is supposed to reduce the chances of breakage when you fail by 50%, so try that. they come in sets of 10
