Congratulations, you're a Warrior, Assassin, Wizard, or a Priest and you've reached level
131. Here is a step by step guide on how to complete the class change quest. You may
also post screenshots of your quest in this thread.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/classchangepriests.jpg

1. Class Change Priest

First talk to either Reinmoth or Reilath (located in Arcarinas Square and Essene
respectively). Apply for a class change and they will send you to your respective guild
leader.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/guildmasters.jpg

2. Guild Leader

Depending on your class, you will visit Yupine, Baron, Betran, or Mordine. After some
dialogue, they charge you with a quest: you must kill four different bosses around Xen.
They yield quest drops, and you must bring all of these quest items back to your guild
leader.

What you will need: Bring many Curse and Magic Healing Elixirs from any
Item Merchant. The ideal party should contain a high level tank, a Shadow or Assassin
with Sandstorm, and a high level healer. If the person taking the quest is a healer a second
healer is almost necessary for completion.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/clockboss.jpg

3. Library Room

Speak to Logather in Essene and have him teleport you to the Library Room (you will
need your library card) where you will fight and defeat The Clock. By level 131 every mob
on this map (except for the boss) will run from you, so you can seek it freely. There are
many obstacles impeding your view many times on this floor, so I recommend making
sure your sound effects are turned on and listening for ticking sounds.

Quest Drop Tip: The best way to get the quest drops from all of these bosses
is to kill them by yourself. However, if you are a healer, or if you just have friends that
want to help you, there is a way to kill it together and still get the drop easily. Every
person that attacks the boss needs to either leave the dungeon or enter the sparkcash
store once the boss is down to it's last health bar. If your character is the only one on the
map that has attacked the boss when it dies, you will get the drop nearly every time.

The Clock has an AOE move that can curse your character with a slow casting speed and
also slow movement. The casting curse can be removed with a Curse Healing Elixir, and
the movement curse can be cured with a Magic Healing Elixir. The Clock takes one hour
to respawn. The quest drop you receive is the Naviondark. Don't leave just yet, the next
item you need to retrieve is nearby.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/bridgeboss.jpg

4. Bridge of Despair (Level 2)

Located in the northeasternmost corner of the Library Room is the entrance to the Bridge
of Despair. At this point in time there are two levels of this bridge, and the item you need
drops from any monster on the second level. The first level of the bridge is a very long run.
If you are not a tank it is a good idea to bring one with you, along with someone who can
use Sandstorm on the mobs every so often (it is easy to get moblocked here). Frost and
Brambleway work just as good as Sandstorm for ditching the monsters. Once you reach
level two of the bridge, follow the boss tip listed above. Warriors and Assassins (and
some Wizards) will just be able to gather a small mob and kill it with AOE skills to get the
Rodney Garters quest item easily. Otherwise you must single kill one mob at a time until
you receive the item.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/cowboss.jpg

5. Sleepless Grave (Level 2)

Located near the Thieves' Guild in Eir is the Sleepless Grave. The first level of the grave is
very small, you just need to head north and then west to reach an abrupt safe zone and a
set of stairs leading to level two. You will search level two of the grave looking for the Cow
Legend. The defense needed to AOE this level safely is 2+363. You will come across two
different forks in the path. The paths leading left are the shortest so check those first
before heading right. When you find the Cow Legend follow the boss strategy outlined
above. Once you attack the Cow Legend he has four minions that will spawn and attack
you as well. They are weaker and have less HP than the main legend, and you can
differentiate by the Blood Bat skill that only it uses (see picture below).

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/bloodbat.jpg

Have your party fend off the clones or make them run away (the clones are set on a
timer, even if you kill them, they will respawn and attack after a certain amount of time).
Once the Cow has been killed, a new one respawns immediately. You will receive the
Artpoly after you have defeated this boss, and will now face the last and most difficult of
the four.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/tigerboss.jpg

6. Frozen Dungeon (Level 2)

To reach the Frozen Dungeon, the quickest route at this point is to leave from Midori Spa
heading east to Edine, and then south towards Sherwood Forest. At the end of a very long
trek you will reach the dungeon. Inside, there are two levels and no safezones, so make
sure you are buffed and ready to fight before entering. From the entrance, travel south a
little ways to reach an open area. At the bottom of this open area is a ramp leading to a
ledge encircling this level. At the top of this ramp turn left and follow the ledge around to
an opening leading to level two. ~Compassion~ : "One thing I highly recommend in the
Ice Dungeon is rotating your map 180 degrees, which makes the exit from B1 to B2 a
LOT easier to see."

Level 2 Tip: There is no safezone between the two levels. However, once you
enter the doorway and appear in the second level, if you do not move you are considered
safe, no monsters will aggro you. At this time we do not know the defense needed to
safely AOE level two, but the number needed for level one is 2+387, so it must be higher
than this.

You will begin on a ledge surrounding this area similar to that in level one. You will begin
searching for Fiersavier the fourth and final boss. There are actually three Fiersaviers on
the level for you to choose from, and each one respawns on a thirty minute timer after it is
killed. Once you attack the tiger, like the Cow Legend, he has spawns named
Chevesavier's that will also attack (and are on a timer as well). The tiger is also similar to
The Clock in that it has a curse AOE attack that will slow your attack speed drastically,
as well as your movement speed. Use Curse and Magic Healing Elixirs to counter this.
After defeating the boss you will receive the Tiger Dogma. It is time to return to your guild
leader.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/obstricity.jpg

7. Guild Leader

Once you have returned to your guild leader and given him the four items he requested,
you will receive an orb: Obstricity. He will then inform you that you must complete one
more task. You must travel to Memorial Chapel and complete three trials.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/chapelnpc.jpg

8. Memorial Chapel

This chapel is located in the northeastern portion of Eaglerentin Plains (six maps east of
Eir). There is an NPC inside that allows you to enter three different trials: Fire, Water, and
Poison. This portion of the quest is extremely easy, even for healers. Inside each trial is a
mini-boss: Pyrdus, Skia, and Kobai respectively. Each one has 3 spawns that attack, but
all of the spawns will run from you at this level. You have ten minutes to complete each
trial, and each of the bosses goes down very quickly. After completing all three, talk to
the man one more time to receive a second orb: Morosane. It is now time to change, so
return to your guild leader when you are ready.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/chapeltrials.jpg

Final Tip: Once you have both orbs in your inventory you are ready to change.
Once you talk to your guild leader there is no going back, so make sure all of your friends
are there before you talk to him.

http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv211/kordo_vos/Fourth%20Class%20Guide/guildmasters.jpg

9. Guild Leader

Take the Obstricity and the Morosane to your guild leader and change your class to
Warlord, Shadow Master, Archmage, or Paladin.

Please post any tips, corrections, or new information in this thread.

I have yet to do the 4th class change but I am very familiar with quest auto drops and monster counters. The auto drop goes to the last person to initiate attacks against the monster that gives an auto drop. For example if a priest needs to go to the bridge of despair and has a capable tank, once the tank has hit the mob a few times the priest can target monsters one at a time and use one IQ on each monster 1 at a time. It does not matter that the aoer will continue attacking as long as the priest was the last one to start initiate an attack. In a big party the person that needs the auto drop must of course also be the last to initiate an attack on the monster/boss in question.

Example against clock boss:

Party: Warrior, Assassin, Priest, HA, Ranger, Wizard,
Person doing quest: Wizard

Find the clock boss
Warrior, Assassin, HA, Ranger must all hit the clock boss first if they all participate in killing, the Wizard has to wait til everyone else has landed at least 1 hit then he/she can cast any attack spell they desire on the clock. Only 1 Attack is necessary as he will be getting the drop for being the last to initiate attacks. The wizard may sit down, drink coffee, do whatever or continue attacking he/she has already guaranteed if the treasure drops he/she will get it so long as he/she does not die.

Well i personally like Agha's. ._. It doesn't matter if there was another one before, anyone is welcome to start a guide.

Well, Deo, I asked Eririn first before I even started working on this guide. Also, Charon is one of my best friends and I helped him make that first one (the priest he mentions is me). That account of his he had locked upon request, so he can't update the first post. So we decided it would be best to make a new thread.

Wardomic: Yes I agree, a lot of times with healers this strategy works well. On the bridge we do this a lot, we all attack and let the healer hit last. The problem is, it doesn't always work. When you are in the Frozen Dungeon things can get very hectic, and you only want to have to kill that tiger once. This strategy that I outlined when used correctly allows the person to get the drop right away almost every time. When I did the quest with Arleen (a Paladin on Marian) last week, we actually did the entire quest in less than an hour. We just took a tank and an extra healer to hold off the other mobs, and I helped her kill the tiger. When it had one bar of health left I was able to go to the sparkcash store while our tank kept her safe as she delivered the final blows. So, yes you are definately right, but there were a number of times early on after this quest was first introduced, where we had to kill the tiger a few different times (the one that comes to mind is Varn, having to kill 12 of them), and even spend hours in that dungeon, wasting sc pots and even pendants.

Serendipitous timing on a great guide, Agha. I've never been on a 4th class change journey before and the directions are immensely helpful. I probably won't have a stong enough healer or assistant tank available to help me out, so I plan on soloing it. I might just take some screenies. =D

That's pretty much the scratch pad run guide I made since I had to learn how to solve the quest first. Plus Agha wanted to spruce it up using his matlock-like artistic hands, and I can't edit my siruschaos posts anymore. I took screenies of everything step by step back then, but Agha has the desire to play around with his image editor programs.

Besides, I just enjoyed (though did pull my hair out a little at times, argh Rodney Garthers) being the first one to solve and enjoy the quest without it being known. That's when being 1st really paid off.

Besides all that though, excellent guide bud. A+

I recommend having at least two healers for both the ice cave and sleepless grave. One to spam MH, another to bless. But that's just me.

Priests, it IS possible to solo all of these quests. :]
Believe me.

Just be sure to bring a lot of juice and sc pots. :'D

One thing I highly recommend in the Ice Dungeon is rotating your map 180 degrees, which makes the exit from B1 to B2 a LOT easier to see. (A great tip someone gave me while I was doing the last part)Once you make it to B2, the Fiersaviers are easy to find.

And he's not kidding, the trials are cake. Each of those bosses is like beating up one mob from Big Apple. Even mountless, I finished all of them in less than a minute and a half each.

This quest is very easy to complete alone for an Assassin. I'm not even gonna use SC pots for my quest (mainly coz i never buy any) i'll be using Salt. heals 100 and only weighs 1. Perfect for this quest. And spamming curse and magic pots is annoying, better to use immunity tonics like anime said.

Everything is easy if you prepare enough for it

agha_torab
12-09-2009, 05:50 AM
Yes, I agree. I've gone up and killed the tiger solo lots of times. But it meant a lot to my friend's to be a part of my quest, and friends are what this game is all about!

Yeah...I wasn't prepared especially for the tiger. Had to learn it the hard way, but that made it fun though.

Oh and immunity tonics work now? Well to be honest back when I tried using them in Turmeit against the Curse Storm Curse (pun lol), I still would get cursed. I never bought them again since after 4th class update however. That's good to know now.

Heh even I still learn things after all this time. :)

I just tried using Curse and Magic Immunity elixers when fighting the tiger's this morning in Jot, and I still got both curses quite a few times. So I'm gonna remove that part that I added from the guide, sorry Anime.

Question: Is the HA/Ranger class change quest same as the lvl 96 class change quest? o.o
