A newbie with a question =]

I know it's pretty lame that I haven't figured this out yet, but how can one use a weapon? I'm an archer with the generic starter bow, and I am tired of dealing one damage to the slimes I'm punching.

Inventory screen... left click on the bow and drag it, or right click on it to auto-equip (if it's possible, which it should be)

hit the enter key, type your msg, hit the enter key again for "local" chat under the first tab, you cannot shout across the map (using /s) until you are lv 6 or higher.
