I for one think Mages would absolutely pwn rouges in this game for the pure reason that there is no rouge class so they'd win by default.

im going to say rouges because they get right up in your face when they fight and mages will try and run away from you to cast magic. Rouges also have god endurance so they can take those spells
now if your a higher lvl like 40 or 50 mages will dominate because they're cast rate is so high that one strike could isntantly kill you.
its not a one sider

There isn't any rouge either, unless they're making it a vanity item in the mall.
That said, mage > non-existant class/cosmetic (depending on spelling used)

I'll go with Mage because I dueled my friend last night (level 53 mage vs level 50 cleric) and *I* nearly died several times, they're extremly powerful.
They just have to cast movement reduction and you're pretty much walking after the mage as they 'kite' you to death, which is what she did to me several times.
And since rogues would need to use SP, the mage can sap that too. Mine was reduced instantly to zero (along with some spells I had up) several times.
In the end, mage wins.
