Hello, i was wondering about the level up system, can anybody give a detailed explaination about it ?

i have a certian problem, leveling up in this game is really hard, it takes like 2 hours or more for achieving one level even on the enemies labeled red

is there a way to speed up the level up process ?

1. First, where do you level up, and what level and class are you?

2. Join parties for easier raids.

3. Doing it in the Spawn/Find GM event is worth it if you are not lagging badly.

4. Get your hans on the "Traveller's Journey book", gives 1.5x or 2.0x exp for thirty minutes.

Rare as Xen-stones. I have only gotten two 1.5x from the "Find Gm"-events.
You might find it on monsters like Depublican and higher in Spawns.

sometimes going solo makes a difference. also party composition makes a huge difference, as the experiance of the kill is split according to level.

so if you have a party of 4 of equal level then you'll need to kill 4 mob to get the same XP.

but if you are in a party of 4 that are at level 50, and you are level 20, then the total party level is 170, and your level is 20/170=11.7%, so you'll only get 11.7% XP out of any kill, so you'll need to kill 10 times as many to get the same level up (you could level faster in solo, but it is more risky, and consumes more pots by not having a healer).

alternatively if you are level 50, and have a level 16 aco with you, then the party level is 66, and you will get 50/66=75% of the experiance points for each kill, still not as fast as solo, but takes less pots.

there isn't a straight answer, you need to evaluate the area you are fighting and party composition, a lot of people like parties of 8, but personally i wouldent want a party bigger then 4(for 10% bonus), as you'll split the XP between so many and so leveling will become much slower.

you also need to look at where you are fighting, you should go into much harder areas if you have a party(i know it's easy with a big party in easy areas but you won't get much XP).

it is also different for different clases, different classes perform differently solo or in parties.

probably the best way to compare is to see how much you get per kill, and how long you take to kill, and then compare different parties or solo, and fighting in different areas.

a party full of slackers will also slow you down in leveling. i use potions to fight fast and level fast, if someone wants to spend 90% of their time sitting around regenerating then they arn't spenging that time actively helping getting experiance, just increasing the total level of the team, and so reducing the amount of experiance you are getting, while benefiting from the experiance you are earning for the team by fighting hard and fast with potions.

i found one of them, i can't remember where, probably in hunting some high level areas

That's why I said they were rare. Do you mean Furendal or further in Arcarina?^_^'

i don't know exactly where and when i got it (i only check my stuff occasionally when i'm in town). but most likely it was around Rabbi basin(Nth of Essene) or Ashton basin, as i've been spending quite a bit of time around those areas.

1- it depends, but now i'm at Bairyn forests, and i'm level 33, class Magician

and so the level up system itself is like this, pretty slow -_-

BTW- what points on each section of the status do i exactly need for becoming a Mage ?

... Can you elaborate a bit about the last sentence?

A mage only needs INT to stay effective.

The guild-leader of the Magician-class tells you about that.

You will be able to reset when he talks to you. Then you add the pre-required points he speaks of, along with the spare points you can dump somewhere you like..

are you solo or in a party?

i used to solo in Bairyn forests at level 30. it have me 1.8% XP per mob. at level 33 you could probably solo in ashmon hill(i was burning pots, but covered most expenses from pickups). or if in a party, then the XP divides amongst the party members, so you should be loking at getting 4-5 times the xp from each monster, meaning you'd need to fight in more challenging areas.

baisiclly the more challenging area you fight in the faster you level. if you want to play it safe then you won't level very fast.
