but giving out your password to someone doesnt make them a hacker makes you ignorant.

thats still considered hacking, but anyways no real problems other than a few spelling errors due to multiple language settings

Never heard of an official game having virusses lol

only private servers might have virusses... but official games? no man....

this game is clean lol

No, that's not considered hacking.. that'd be considered social engineering - still ethically wrong, however. That said, when you go to the 'new fan' sites, do not use your same login/pwd for their forums, etc. If you do, your acct/password -could- be discovered, and abused. That'd be an example of giving up your login/password, and not even thinking about it happening.

Not going to argue, correcting misinformation. Computer security is my field, so I try to correct any false statements/misconceptions regarding it that I can.

Amen! to that. Having bad info cleared up by someone who knows better is ALWAYS good IMO. :)

Do stay away from Gold selling/powerleveling sites you might see advertised( both in and out of the game). Not just for the fact that they are illegal. But, many have been known( in other games) to have "keylogger" programs on their site and they may try to steal your account.I have not heard of any here yet, but I think it is just a matter of time before we do.

Yes, but there’s a difference between false statements/misconceptions and arguing semantics. Do you also correct people that say they have DSL when they actually have a cable connection?
