I agree with emoking.
Naturally, viruses and hackers will increase with the amount of time the game has been in open beta version as with any other game.
Right now, its closed beta, so your probobaly safest playing now then you will be later on.:D

There is still two known hacks out there, stat hack editor and money editor. I'm not sure if kron is server side or player side. If its server side money editor will say you have whatever you put in (ex 1mil kron) but really when you go to a shop and try to buy something it says you have 1mil kron it will only let u buy up to w/e amount you really have (Ex 5k kron so you couldn't buy more then 100potions). Atm I'm not aware of any dup programs.

I can easily stop it, if any hackers come up, so don't worry. I don't work for Outspark, but I don't let hackers run a game that I am part of. I'm too good with computers to sit back and let that happen. Trust me, they got nothin' on me. I was taught by a friend whom worked for the CIA, so don't even sweat it, hackers can't do nothing, I can easily create addons or scripts to protect anybody, all you'd have to do is get it from me. I can actually trace back and find out the exact living location of the person that hacked someone last, and take back what they hacked for, and then completely debunk their computer, so that it won't be able to access the game, or the website in any way, and they can't do nothing about it. But don't worry, I'm not a bad person, so I don't use my skills to do anything bad. I've never been arrested for anything in my life, and I don't plan on it ever happening in the future.

Where respect is given, it is also recieved. (Important to remember that).

You just made our security joke page for the month with this post. Our security team finds you to be quite hilarious, thank you for the good morning laugh! A false sense of security is worse than a real infosec threat. (Important to remember that.)

Upon further thought, I'm going to make a few statements:

I can easily stop it, if any hackers come up, so don't worry. I don't work for Outspark, but I don't let hackers run a game that I am part of.

You can't stop anything without having the source code, and access to the database. Neither of which is possible due to the database being encrypted to bank standards due to e-commerce.

I'm too good with computers to sit back and let that happen. Trust me, they got nothin' on me.

I'm thankful you're not actually in the INFOSEC field, your ego would cause a massive catastrophe on many levels.

I was taught by a friend whom worked for the CIA, so don't even sweat it, hackers can't do nothing, I can easily create addons or scripts to protect anybody, all you'd have to do is get it from me.

No, you weren't. CIA does blackbag/clandestine ops - you picked the wrong alphabet soup agency to use in your comedy act. I believe you were looking for NSA. As for scripting... 99% of those who can almost do simple BASIC programming can script too, not exactly impressive. I'll humor you though, can you name the 1 scripting language that may actually work?

I can actually trace back and find out the exact living location of the person that hacked someone last, and take back what they hacked for, and then completely debunk their computer, so that it won't be able to access the game, or the website in any way, and they can't do nothing about it.

No.. you can't. Please stop trying to impress people with elaborate statements, it won't work. You neglect a few things... one of which is that there's 3 or more on these forums that have been in the INFOSEC field 10+ years, one of which is me. That said, to find the exact living location of the person, you'd have to A) compromise 1 or more networks at the federal level, B) compromise databases that some of the worlds best can't even get close to, let alone compromise, C) compromise at least 1 telephone NOC, and then D) understand how to calculate cable lengths to distances with cable maps, and how CP&M teams at that level work with multi-split pairs in X-boxes.

The only way you'd stop one from accessing the game would be to make a simple hosts file edit... takes 15 seconds to remove. If you touched another computer over a state border, that's jailtime since 9/11.. but then again, you being the security guru already knew that.

-snip-
Where respect is given, it is also recieved. (Important to remember that).

Well said, please respect those in the field that know what they speak of, and don't go impersonating us, or acting as if you have a clue.

Thanks,

Lol.. i have been working towards a degree in this subject, and i have learnt the important lesson of not trying to impress someone, as it will just make you look like a retard, and as for the
I can actually trace back and find out the exact living location of the person that hacked someone last, and take back what they hacked for, and then completely debunk their computer, so that it won't be able to access the game, or the website in any way, and they can't do nothing about it.
If you can do that.. then you must be one of the worlds best, as not even my lecturer can do it to that minute level, and he has been programming since the 60's. And put in people using long proxy chains, and you will be absolutly lost, but thanks for the laughs

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to provide some advice to the community. We have many security measures in place to prevent such hacks and viruses from entering our service. As of now, there are no known security issues and we are steadfast in keeping it that way. With that said, please be aware of 3rd party gold service websites as they are known to have various malware programs embedded within the site so that by merely visiting it, you may have comprismised the security of your computer. I highly recommend staying clear of all of them in any way possible as we have had multiple reports of users who have had keyloggers installed on their computer without their knowledge simply because they decided to check one of these websites out. Also, never share your account information with anyone, including family and friends, as this is not only a violation of our terms of service, but could comprismise your account.

Keep in mind, we're here to help you in any way possible and by maintaining a high level of personal internet security, you are helping yourself and us keep our game as enjoyable as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

I must agree, this person is a total fool :)

It's obvious he has no idea what he's talking about,

He's probably trying to dupe some stupid fool into running a trojan or something.
