This idea has been uh, wandering in my mind for a bit. It all started when I noticed that the neophyte buffs were to do with music.
Description: Unlike Neophytes, Bards aren't close range, nor are they attackers. Their main goal is to support those in need of help in drastic times of battle. Through song and dance they are able to raise the spirits of others and help them achieve their highest potential.
Overview: With defense just a little bit lower than an acolyte, the bard can still protect his/her party. Through aoe buffs the bard is able to raise HP, MP, Dodge, Skill Crit, Movement Speed, Hit Rate, and Attack.
Maybe a few aoe curses for monsters? (Binder Needed XD)
Weapon: Harp for Vocalist, Bard and Musician. XD Guitar for rockstar.

Power Hymn: (AoE) Gained at lv16, Skill can increase every 20 lvs. (Skill also increases Magic attack)
Lv1: +4 atk (Lasts for 3 minutes) MP Cost: 13, 20 second cooldown
Lv2: +8 atk (Lasts for 4 minutes) MP Cost: 20, 19 second cooldown
Lv3: +12 atk (Lasts for 5 minutes) MP Cost: 27, 18 second cooldown
Lv4: +16 atk (Lasts for 5 minutes) MP Cost: 34, 17 second cooldown
Lv5: +16 atk (Lasts for 7 minutes) MP Cost: 41, 15 second cooldown.
Combat Chord: (Single Hit Skill, Long range) Gained at lv16, Skill can increase every 20 lvs.
Lv1: Base damage at lv16: 75, MP Cost: 10
Lv2: Skill damage increases by 50, MP Cost: 15
Lv3: Skill damage increases by 50, MP Cost: 20
Energy Ballad: (AoE) Gained at lv21, Skill can increase every 15 levels.
Lv1:+50 HP (Lasts for 3 minutes) MP Cost: 10, 20 second cooldown
Lv2:+75 HP (Lasts for 4 minutes) MP Cost: 16, 19 second cooldown
Lv3:+100 HP (Lasts for 5 minutes) MP Cost: 22, 18 second cooldown
Lv4:+150 HP (Lasts for 5 minutes) MP Cost: 28, 17 second cooldown
Lv5:+200 HP (Lasts for 7 minutes) MP Cost: 34, 15 second cooldown.
Poyo Trickery: (Defense/Stall Skill) Gained at lv26, Skill can increase every 25 levels
Lv1: Summons What looks to be a poyo (but isn't) to stall the monster. Can take 2 hits, 1 minute cooldown
Lv2: Can take 3 hits, 50 second cooldown
Lv3: Can take 4 hits. 40 second cooldown

Eclipse (This'll give that useless skill a use lol): Gained at lv36, Skill can increase every 20 levels
Lv1: 10 mins of Invisibility (Can't move), 11 minute cooldown, MP Cost: 12?
Lv2: 15 mins of Invisibility (Can move once), 10 minute cooldown, MP Cost: 18?
Tone Deaf: (AoE) Gained at lv41, Skill can increase every 15 levels
Lv1: 25% Chance to make the monsters run in fear, if it doesn't work they'll attack you instead. MP Cost: 18
Lv2: 40% Chance. MP Cost: 22
Lv3: 55% Chance. MP Cost: 26
(I'm tired atm so i'll finish it in the morning. For those who think it's overpowered now, think of it like this. Your weapon is practically useless, your defense is worse than an acolytes and you require parties to lv.)
Hmmm... Maybe a namechange is needed. Neo > Vocalist > Performer > Bard > Rockstar ._. (Lol lol there's 5 because of the new classes coming... if we ever get them xD
