Errors, errors, errors!

It's always the same. I've downloaded the client several times, with and without downloader progs, and still I get this error when I install:

ImportError: No module named OskRest

I realise this is beta, but come on, myself and what looks to be a hundred others need to know what to do. Please help.

nVidia onboard graphics card
AMD processor
Plenty of RAM

A lot of people with the same problem (me included), so far the only official response has been:


We are aware of the issue, and are currently working on a fix for this issue.

I have a work around that i used at home....

If the patch is not successful, keep trying until it work. It took me 5-8 times at home before it finally worked. The patch is timing out when contacting our server. This work around is a force install work around. It may or may not work. This work around is also not 100% gurantteed to work, but you may want to try it.

Which is not really the most helpful info… btw, I tried downloading and installing Fiesta (the other outspark game) and it gave exactly the same problem. Apparently, the problem seems to be associated to the Launcher folder created along with the install for either of the two games, rather than to the games themselves.

I think I might have a permanant fix for this, I just need more time. I think the problem is, that the files that need to be saved, are being routed to a different folder, and I haven't found that folder yet. I might have to create a file that will re-route everything where it belongs. But the file that it refers to in the error message, needs re-rounted to go to the correct folder. I am working on it, it might take a while though. I am not a GM and I don't work for Outspark, but I am trying to help fix these errors best I can, because I wanna try this game out as well as anyone else. And it wouldn't be fair if I fixed it for myself and no body else, so just sit tight, relax, watch a movie or something on Joox.net and everything will be fixed soon.

There seems to be alot of problems with download, installing and playing the game....
Im sure this will all be worked out, just have patience and dont flare on the borads (Trust me, it doesn't make anything better...)

Lol, wow.... I never thought I'd get a reply like that out of my message. Thanks man, I'm just tryin' to help out.

Oh, and that URL I gave you guys in there.... don't share it with people that will report it to internet police or something like that.... otherwise it'll get shut down. I'm not the owner of that URL or anything that has to do with it, I just like that site, free movies, TV, and music all over that site, and they have a forum, where you can request some. If the big heads find it, they'll shut it down again, and we'll have to wait a while for it to be back up.

Its just something to do, while you wait till we can fix these errors for everyone.
