In Elderine earlier I was asked by 6 different people to gift them things :/
It's got to the point where I take off my costume and don't ride my raccoon around in towns because I get whispered every few minutes by randomers asking me to gift them stuff. I don't mind my friends asking me for things but asking a stranger to spend their money on you is just rude.
Most of them offer to pay me golds which really annoys me because I live in Europe and can't risk my account getting banned or anything. My block list is almost full of these people and spammers.
Anyone else sick of this?

You can always just clear out your block list and start over. Yeah... Usually it's the noobs in Elderine asking for GIFT GIFT GIFT! You gotta love those ppl who have a ton of sc on and are riding on a horse and they ask for you to gift them =.= I just block them or ignore them pretending I'm afk. But yeah don't let those beggars make them want you to hide your sc with their annoyance. Wear your sc items proud :P

I get the same thing whenever I'm in Elderine. lots of kids playing this game that expect us to burn hole through our wallets for them. what are we? rich? I got people adding me to their friendlist then whispering me to gift them and when they say no, they delete me lol.

especially for wedding applications. what's so great about getting married? Oo if you can't afford an application, you probably can't afford a divorce since you'll probably marry some random person you ask

gotten to the point where I gift rarely/to only close friends. no acceptions

I just tell them I don't gift lol. which I don't..much :P

I get some ppl asking to gift them something too, but.. I never do..
why?
1. I spend money on sc for my characters and there's usually nothing left.
2. I don't have much money myself (I mean irl)
3. I won't risk to gift random ppl. I mean I won't get anything from them anyways so what's the point? If it'd be like exchange of gifts that'd be fun. Like I gift something to one person and that person gifts something for me. Fair and nice.

I can barely afford a little sc for myself, let alone others. The only person I will ever gift ingame is my bf, for obvious reasons.

Just block them and move on, or do as I do and just tell them point blank, no get lost.

They are indeed a bit annoying. Especially when they ask your character whether they want to Marry you.

Me: sorry, I only marry the characters of my real life boyfriend
They: oh okay... could you gift me something?
Me: ah so that's where this sudden love came from, sorry no...

In general I say: Sorry I cannot afford SC, I got these as gifts too from friends. Try to ask your parents to buy some SparkCash for you

And more or less it's true, afterall I bought SC only once so far, but since I got the money for the new computer, I am planing to get some more SC soon >83

I always ask them: would you go up to a perfect strange in real life and ask for ten or twenty dollars? They usually say "of course not!" then I'm like, WELL? And they go away. xD

Yeah, this annoys me a bunch too. I get SC maybe every few months and buy a few costumes or something to last me until i can get more but then I want through any town, even Uruga and get asked if i can gift them. I even had someone say i was lying when i told him i didn't have any sc left >.> After this one I started just saying that i only gift my ig wife. Which some of the reactions I get when I tell them that as my archer kind of makes up for it lol but either way, I know they want to have the sc but sometimes its just bad.

This is why i don't go to eldy. If they say i will pay you for sc item i tell them it's against ToS and tell them leave me alone. I do gift things sometime when i have extra but only to close friends. I hate the people asking for 1g more. they go on and on and on, "give me 1g give me 1g, i know you can your high lvl your rich" and on and on................................................ .................................

lol. i remember when i first bought sc. i had gotten me a midori suit and my irl gf a school girl outfit and cat ears and we had just started. i had someone in a king slime kq and someone asked me to gift them. i just point blank lied to them and said "sorry i don't have sc. these were gifted to me by a friend" they left me alone after that xD

It happens so often It's become a part of my daily routine.

-Restone
-Tell the 10 people I wont gift them
-They offer me money
-I tell them again
-[Sometimes]They ask me to marry them just to get a gift x-x, which I also politely refuse

Oh and I live in Europe too so I'm afraid to even do the slightest thing wrong -curses the IP block-

I hate walking in Elderine as well, on my cleric i get whispers for SC and for buffs all the time. ><
