my greetings to the staff of SOS, first i would like to thank you for your efforts on this great game.

i would like to suggest a poll, and the staff of the game will decide if they take my opinion or not.

how about removing the exp loss when dying, and replace it with a certain loss of money ?

because the level up system is slow, and when you die you lose exp ?, it's too inconvenient i think.

But then watch; they'll decrease the drop rates until it's just as hard to make money as it was in RO. 'Sides, if you spam pots, you /are/ losing money when you die. XD;

That wouldn’t work and for simple reasons:

If you lose a set amount of cash every time you die, it would be either to high for the lower levels or to low for the higher levels. Programming the game to actually take a certain amount according to you level would also bring the problem of actually deciding how much wouldn’t be either to low or high a price for each level, coding/programming issues aside.

If you actually lost a % of your current cash, then it would all depend on how much cash you were carrying at the time, which would also bring a similar problem, you could be a very high level character with little cash (but with a lot of equips, pots, etc) or a low level who suddenly lost a big amount. And besides, if money can be traded or deposited (I haven’t played the game, so dunno about those features) it could also be quite easy to find ways around the cash loss.

You lose a small amount of EXP for dying and it does not hurt too bad. Besides the idea is dont die, if you do you are penalized.

Haha! yup RO listened to they're players so much, the game just became chaotic (To an extent. but never the less, it was chaotic)

I would rather lose 5%-7% of experience than a percentage of my money...it's easier to regain lost exp...
