First thing i notice [Archive]

Hey Everybody,

So i'm this new guy to this game being all hyped up as it seems like a cool game, so i download the game and install and create account in the meanwhile. Installation finishes, me hyped up starts the game, come to character screen first thing i notice: i cant see some of the letters, me thinking "ahw big deal" creates a character and go to world, when i notice the second thing: i can see me and the npc's and all other players but no floor or buildings:confused:now i've been checking the forum and i see it propably has to do with my OpenGL Driver, But where can i find it?please help

The graphic issue you are experiencing is with your graphic drivers. In order to play Secret of the Solstice you must have the latest version of Open GL drivers. Please go to this link to download the latest Open GL drivers. Also please make sure that your PC is within the Minimum System Requirements.

My computer is within the minimum requirements and i donwloaded a driver, but still doesn't work:(

Maybe it has something to do with the way your Graphics card is acctually set.
I Have Nivida (Did I sepll that right?:rolleyes:) and it lets you manually adjust VARIOUS things.
It could be a setting with your graphics card, or, Are you 100% sure you installed everything correctly? (Possible problem.) Try re-installing, let us know how that works out for ya'

ok guess what, i managed to fix my graphic problem but i still cant see some of the text content:(any help on that would be nice

Yes, I too have problems with the text, its readable but looks like chicken scratch :p

I Guess I'm gonna wait that one out, it could have something to do with the beta version :rolleyes: Not sure.

Well its readable for me so I don't mind. Can you read the text at all? (I Have trouble the the 'I's' You can barley see 'em!)

Haha! Ill check and see if theres a solution for poor fonts, Ill post it here if I find a result! ;)

try updating your DirectX
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en
and if you have Vista with DirectX 10 you will stall need to update the DirectX 9C
