I recently just reinstalled the program 4 times after upgrading my graphics card (S3 graphics prosavage ddr) so don't even tell me to upgrade graphics card.. but anyways I get a screen with absolutely no text with 2 buttons to press, both send me back to login screen. and also I would like to know *** is the problem with the no text and sometimes I just get white boxes like-->[]<--. also im running XP home editionhttp://img208.imageshack.us/img208/2707/screen01am1.jpg

The graphic issue you are experiencing is with your graphic drivers. In order to play Secret of the Solstice you must have the latest version of Open GL drivers. Please go to this link to download the latest Open GL drivers. Also please make sure that your PC is within the Minimum System Requirements.

I have the latest OpenGL and my computer does meet requirements

i have exactly the same problem and the same graphic card
but i think the problem there isnt any openGL support s3 prosavage DD: or i havent found one...if anyone knows any plz tell me...

The weird thing about all this is before I got that screen I was able to login in and play but the only problem I had was that I could not see any text, it would either be completely gone or it would just be periods "... .... .." like that. I don't understand why the text isn't showing up.:confused:

Try this:

The issue with the launcher can be resolved by manually downloading and installing the patch. Please save to your desktop, and install it from your desktop. Here is a link that will help.
