so i've been spending a good hour reading a lot of stuff people have wrote about the fighter and its pros and cons. judging from what people are saying i have concluded that a pure END is used more for partying to tank and high str for damage when solo. so what im asking is for suggestions on a hybrid, something that in a sense "sucks" at both solo and party but better than a pure END solo and a high STR partying. also, please suggest what weapons to use.
right now i have +5 STR and +20 END. looks like im going in the pure end tank way but hopefully ill be able to change to a semi tank semi damage dealer.

Some common ones are...
1:1 STR:END
1:2 STR:END
2:1 STR:END
Also you could add some points into SPR until 25 to get that critical bonus if you want.

If you haven't noticed, he already has 25 skill points.
Btw, nice scam idea there in your sig, but it's unoriginal, Jhaysun had already thought of that before you.

Well, I'm on a hybrid build, mainly cuz it's the only decent build for a 2h sword, from what I remember.. -.-; Not the best tank, but with a few good END boosting equipment and a cleric, I can pretty much fill the spot. Though it's arguable that adding STR points is pointless, I'd much rather play the way I want to, not how I'm told to, it just spoils the whole point. So, make sure it's what YOU want to do before you do it. STR/END builds can still be good tanks, ya just need the right stuff.

Don't go for SPR.
I suggest you do a 1:2 STR/END ratio by looking at your stats. That should be good enough.

create a new one, add end till 35 then 25 spr, then end all the way...
or you can add 15 end then 10 spr, end till 35 then spr till 25, then end all the way...
people say str is useless in fiesta...(only an opinion)
1 str = + 1 dmg
5 str = + 6 dmg
bonus dmg in every 5 str
1 spr = 5 sp, 0.2 crit%(until 25 spr)
10 spr = 5 magic def (not sure bout this)
preferred weapons
1 hand sword + shield (tanking)
Axe (if you want dmg) trust me you'll love the crits

STOP IT, Whatever you do, Dont reset the game like I did!
I would be lvl 50 by now hadnt it been for my huge rebuild from 33.
Its not the way to go man!
And If you're looking for a good Hybrid build, you gotta a few things in mind, do you have enough patience to look for a party everytime you go out or do you not have patience at all and want to Destroy things as soon as you step foot in the game.
2. You have to figure in your SP cost and cost of stones in general. If moneys not your obsession, stick with a build that you find most suitable for using a one handed sword, and no, it isnt the END build...unless you wanna fight for another month to get to lvl 40.
3. Think about the future, anybody and there mommas momma can hit lvl 30 if they wanted to. But thats just half the game....think about that, not even half really. You have to think about what kind of bonuses your basic equipment can give you, and from looking at some of the basic essentials, once you reach lvl 40 the game takes a huge turn. Youll notice around 35, but It wont hit you in the face as hard until you actually reach 40.
4. To be a quick lvlin son of a gun from nantucket! You have to be willing to change routs on the fly depending on your equipment situation
remember, it doesnt matter what build you are(unless you do somthing completely stupid like build a full INT warrior.) your equipment allways, and I repeat! ALLWAYS COMES FIRST! Basically, you will suck like an octopus on a sushi table unless you come up with some nice gear.
5. Save your money, END builds will waist SP like an STR build waists HP stones. How to avoid this....counter balance yourself! If you are an STR build, what do you really need with an STR ring while soloing mobs at your lvl, you'll still essencially take off the same amount of DPS if you added an END ring instead.
And last, LEAVE THAT MAGIC #@$@ ALONE MAN! There aint a single thing you can do to avoid it. Add all the SPR points you want, you will still get pwned. Thats the way the warrior was designed so he had a weakness. And for the most part STR does play a huge factor if you have a one handed weapon, and it gets even nastier when you have a two handed one. But when using a two hand, as a hybrid its allways good to counter balance yourself, with and END ring or somthing to that degree.
By the time you reach Uruga, and can solo mobs for yourself, being an STR build will hender you....BY A CRAPTON! So when you reach the turning point at lvl 40+ switch it up a bit and make END your priority over STR, but dont leave STR behind, or SPR.
Remember kids, its not the skill that makes the man, it the amount of times he can do that skill without passing out that makes the man. Your skills that use alot of SP? CUT EM UP, CUT EM ALL UP, or else you'r SP gauge will look like a mages 13/609 SP "Oh no outta stones, I cant save my party with taunt! Oh no!" (2975 exp lost)
But over all, just play how you wanna play, it'll serve you some good ^^.

remaking your character is only my opinion. I don't like messed up builds and I'm not willing to sacrifice 5 points (cause that's a lot). my 1st character was a lvl 17 fighter(str:spr 1:1 played for 2 days), and it was like hell to plvl that's why I created my new lvl 22 fighter(end:spr 3:1 ratio played for 2 days) and i loved it. then i realized that I was not meant to be a fighter >_<.
well, If you're willing to sacrifice 1%crit, 25sp, 2.5Mdef(not sure bout this) or 25hp, block rate%, and def for a lil dmgs then it's fine ^_^

I say starting over is up to you or not. I started over on my lvl 19 fighter and have not regretted it. And no Spr is not useless, as you will see in higher lvls it starts stacking with your equips , and other stuff. I myself have went 25 Spr Full Str. And although it was hard and I can't tank for poo with out a cleric in the end I feel it was worth it and it is quite fun. :D

Now as for Skill Points, well I'm just saving mine up. :p
Its up to how you want to play really and starting over is not as bad as it seems. Don't let anyone call your build dumb, stick with it and you may end up better then them all. :3
