Christmas pets again >.<

I have to open this thread b/c GM closed that one w/o answering my question that is why can't they be trade-able within 1 account??? I have 3 separate accounts, I don't care if I can't transfer pets from 1 account to another (or selling them either), but why can't it be transfer within 1 account? That wouldn't affect anyone, it's still me!!! 3 accounts equal 12 different characters and some are just name-reserved until I find time to level them later. That's just on Bijou. And on every server, I have 4 chars each, that's a total of 32 characters. Again, some are just level 1 name-reserved. Are you telling me to get on all 32 characters to get the pets??? Don't tell me to go level all those lvl 1 chars. You're seriously hallucinating.

And don't tell me it's my problem that I have so many chars. Transferring the pets within one account shouldn't affect anyone or the freaking screwed up game economy since that was Silky's main reason: game economy, less chaos, etc (check other thread). :mad:

Sad thing is, there is your answer right there. You shouldn't be able to take your 75 mage (not saying that's what you have but using for sake of an example) and farm pets for all your chars. And even so, you have 32 chars... That means that at least ONE on every server would have to be high enough to get one (or your reason is void) and however many accounts you have for name reservations on your main server. You don't NEED a pet for all 32 chars (especially if most are level 1 anyways) because chances are you wont use it much anyways. And again, it is your fault you made so many chars to reserve names. Guess that's the problem with doing that, eh?

That was my original intention (get a high level char to get 4 pets for each account/server) until Silky messed it up. I don't need pets for all 32 chars as pets aren't really needed but I want pets for all of them. It all depends on who I decide to go for next and what's wrong with wanting/saving something for them when that time comes?

And no, it's not my fault to create many chars, it is my choice. But you're right, I probably won't jump all on servers to get the pets. What I am more mad about is them doing it without any notice. As I stated in other thread, I bought SC pets and moved regular pets to storage char (aka name-reserved char for now). Now, all of the sudden, boom, go farm those pets now b/c that's Silky's decision. :mad:

I'm not a PvP player, once I get my stuffs I get out of PvP area. Now all those pets from last yr I have are in storage, I can't move them back even if it's within 1 account. Not only that, now I have to go in there with every single char?! :mad::mad::mad:

It was my decision to make them non-tradeable.

Reasons were stated above by other players.

These items are apart of an Event Quest and it's a reward for you the player.

These drops are too common, and bring an unbalance to the game and economy.

You're suppose to go into the zone, complete the quest, and move on.

Not farm the area for 2 weeks and come out a billionaire.

This creates less chaos, less demand for the items, and brings joy to my face.

This has nothing to do with my question. I'm not farming any pets nor planning to sell or give away any. Let me rephrase it again so you can understand. Why can't the pets be bound to 1 ACCOUNT instead of 1 char??? At least make last year's pets fall into this category.

I didn't support CS only to get screwed over without any notice/warning. If there's a prior notice, I wouldn't be as furious as I am now. They ticked me off with many things but I let it go. Even though this is not a big issue but it sure sets the sparks fly. So I'm not going to response to anymore nonsense replies like yours.

If they don't give me an acceptable reason, they can forget my CS support from now. As if 1 person would make them give a damn. :mad:

^ In the main account I play, which contains 4 pets from last year, I often tend to delete low levels chars over and over again cuz I ended up hating its name after while. Every time I delete a char, I basically deleted lots of CS items spent on it. Stupid? I know but I have a job so that doesn't bother me one bit. And being able to move the pets around was one of the fun thing I enjoyed doing. If it was non-tradeable from the beginning, I wouldn't make such a fuss over it.

Again, this wasn't the only thing they made me mad. Unfortunately, it's just something that sets the fire up.

I tried geting answers for this from Nekopon OR from Phibes, I have actually been purposefullly ignored. SO whatever their reason, it must be one that players won't like. I do think it proly has to do with the sc u buy. If you have to get pets for all ur characters u'll prolly buy Kings Touch for all characters.. so if the pets were 1 account and not 1 player it would b a loss of money. Plus u can get a better, though non-perm version of this by buying the santa packs. I'm not trying to rant on OutSpark being money hungry, but sadly it's the only reason I found.

Btw... after today im seriously reconsidering the sc i put into this game... not only for me but for my bf too... thts 2 ppl os would loose, including u 3... and the fact i buy gifts and actually give makeover to my friends... thats a LOT of money they won't b getting... I'm just hoping things'll get better... I'm just waiting for them to put me on blacklist or saying these things aboutthem :S

i don't like the idea of xmas pets being bounded..
i know that there are people who are selling them for 500s or more & its kinda insane since u get it free from the event but the thing is, i transfer xmas pets to the character im using/leveling atm i got that pet from last year. i dont buy xmas pets for every char coz i think its not logical since i cant use all 4 chars at the same time. but now i need to get on all of them while the event is going on just so all of them can have +2 pets (not unless i find each char some1 to marry x.x which would really stink coz i only use the character im leveling atm & it wouldnt be fair for the person i marry on other alts) it kills grinding time for the character im leveling x.x .ALSO if i decide to delete a char then ill have to w8 for next year to have a xmas pet for that character which makes it really annoying. i agree with abluck why not make the pets available for all the characters on the same account. Surely it wont mess up the economy.
I also invite friends to play fiesta and support them until they can get the hang of the game, and 1 of the things i give them at the start is a xmas pet which is a big help for beginners. Now if i invite a friend and ask me about that pet i would have to say u have to wait next christmas to get one which would really be upsetting. With that, if u really wanna bound those pets why not make events atleast 4 times a year that gives +2 pets as rewards?

I completely agree with blacksilks and abcluck. All I want is a Santa and a Rudolph, nothing more, that I can keep in my storage to pick up on any of my characters. Like it has been said before, our four characters = us anyway, so where's the problem? In which way does it affect the in-game economy?

I've been farming these pets for hours in hope of giving some to my friends and family, and particularly to one friend who has been banned for thirty days due to the CC bug, and won't be able to play before January, but I guess it won't happen. And on top of that, I can't even give those hard earned pets to my own characters? We're forced to destroy every one of those pets to empty our bag...? And like abcluck said, what if I decide to delete my character, all those event items will be completely lost and I might not even be able to get them again.

This is just crazy.

I had 2 Santas and 2 Rudolphs from last year and I could sell, trade, put in storage, whatever. I think this is because it was last year, but this year, I think the GMs didn't want the players to obtain the valuables too easily.

The event items are one of things that are annoying me too... The excuse from the GM's is that this season is for fun and not profit, yet I see thousands of players being killed so the higher levels can farm the chests for event items to sell to the lower levels who COULDN'T get the items due to the higher levels whoa re going to sell the items to them. So, I agree, this season is for the fun, love, and spirit, not for profit, and I'm glad the GMs saw this and decided to act on it... but if you want this to be for FUN and X-MAS SPIRIT then make the event items also only tradable in the accounts only. Letting the event items being tradeable is completly making the GMs decision and e
xcuses null and void. So they don't farm the chests for the pets... they farm them for the event items.
Also, before a GM barges in here, says that they can't change people attitude and we should protect the lower levels:
1. I tried, but a pt of lvl 75 in fbz were dominating the area and me and 2 other parties tried to kill them but it didn't work. We LITERRALLY comited suicide and martirdom for the lower lvls to get the chests but to no avail.
2. You can't change people, but don't throw a bone to the greedy dogs, they'll end up tearing each other apart for it... and killing everything in their path. I know someone who made 2g in a day from lower levels and my IG husband can't even get ANY chests at all. If you want to do this in the FBZ that's ok, I don't care, but don't give incentive to people who already enjoy ruining other peoples days. Imagie, ruin other peoples days AND get profit from it!

I completly support OS decision to make pets non-tradeable in between characters. No profit, no chest farming, no economy swarming and/or inflation.
I DO NOT support OS decision to make event items tradeable in between characters (they shold lock these to our accounts only), and I do not support OS deision to make pets non-tradeable in the own account.
So OS, change this or do it better next time. I love you, I love the game, but this is exactly why we're here, to play, enjoy, compliment and criticise. What's constructive criticism for anyways?

Before the GMs ninja close this thread: I know they prolly won't change much just because I wrote this, as other people have said and I might or might not support, they do not care. But sadly this whole event has only screamed: "OS profit" to me... please OS, proove me wrong and don'«t close this thread without the answers we're lookin for. Keeping your people in the dark is one of the biggest mistakes you can commit... rebellion is always aroudn the corner.
