i have no idea what to be?? counter sounds a bit complicated but if i could get it to work it could be awesome! but shao have some really neat attacks.
i dont know much about either class so tips would be awesome :)

Counter are better than Shaolin damage based, but hard to use apparently. Shaolin is more beginner friendly since they spam one attack.

Yea i chose Counter, im not one yet but i will be. I asked someone in the game and they watched me fight and they recommended Counter. Im kinda worried about the actual Counter attack on how it works but i guess i will just have to wait and see. Also people said that counters where better at levelling than Shaolin but im not sure why? Any help?
