KQ Jingle Idea

***I have searched the forums for this topic/idea just in case but could not find any...sorry if there's something similar already out there.

The issue: I'm sure all of us has experienced the frozen screen while porting to a KQ map, and become frustrated that you get dc'ed and kicked out of a KQ that you've waited to begin for a long time. There is in fact already somewhat of a solution to this problem: do not do anything once the 10 second wait begins. But the problem is, sometimes we get distracted during the long wait, and start doing other things...and then not notice the 10 sec. wait...and get dc'ed.

The idea: What if you heard a jingle when the 10 sec. wait began? Would that help? To me, it certainly would, since my eyes are usually somewhere other than in that right hand corner.

What do you think? Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

while i don't think it's a bad idea by any means, i've experienced the "dc-at-loading-screen" problem often when i'm not doing anything, just standing around in town... no vendor, no storage, no inventory screen, nothing.... not sure what good it might do.

It is a nice idea though for me I always play mute so won't help me.

Well it was just a thought, since I didn't think this particular dc glitch(or w/e it is) would be fixed ever, which is super annoying when you get dc'ed 50% of the time you're trying to KQ x.x I wonder how many people actually have the same problem as you, FatalLace, 'cause I only get dc'ed when I try to do things while waiting; but that would seriously suck, cause it's definitely out of your control. :(

i play with sound muted because it would drive me nuts. I think i big message in red writing flash up on the screen like when it says you can go do your job change. It needs to be more obvious.
Today i got stuck on loading page as i was bored waiting for kq to fill and was looking at vends. Its such a pain wait all that time for the kq then it doesnt load, then u gotta relog its just grrrr ^^
