almost Christmas.. NO GOOD UPDATES?!

so, it's 4 days now until Christmas and not only has +10 gears/accessories not came out yet.. but, NOTHING ELSE HAS EITHER..

imo, seeing that there is suppost to be a lvl 100x instance dungeon.. +10 gears/accessories a new Housing system and other things all suppost to come out.. THIS MONTH

then that would make me believe either you plan on having a tight schedule for releasements for example releasing the other things on Dec. 22nd-24th, +10 gears/accessories on Dec. 25th or 26th, The new Housing System around New Years and The new instance Dungeon around New Years would be my guess..

Because, the facts are unless you release it all very shortly it will be getting delayed AS USUAL.. i've been patiently waiting and hoping for +10 gears/accessories to come out every single day since i heard that they're coming.

But, now with me 100% completely bored poopless with this game only at lvl 93.. i REALLY WOULD LIKE for you to release the rest of +10ing items BEFORE I QUIT which i plan on retiring my character at level 95 most likely.. IF I CAN MAKE IT.. i'm really bored and sick and tired of this game though tbfh so i don't know if i can last 2 more levels.. :(

but, anyways.. yeah i'd really appreciate it if you could release the +10ing for gears/accessories sooner than later since i should be capable of +10ing all of my gears and some of my accessories..

HELP ME OUT OS.. i've probably spent Thousands of Dollars on this game now so just do this for me before i quit entirely :*(

well i know i've spent well more than $1,000.00 on this game anyways so bleh..

Uhhh I dont really think they will add+10 armor this year, but they promised house system for sure. After xmas patch that messed enchanced weapons glow animation and folowed failed maint I am pretty pissed, and since outspark not giving us sc as compensation for servers downtime, they should at least fulfill their own promise about houses>.>

Look, OS do what they want, they are publishers not developpers(OnOnsSoft are the developpers). Also if u wanna waste money just to get armor to +10 and quit this game at level 95(which mean in 2 levels), there no point wasting money on this game anymore and continue play this game. :cool:

we were told many big updates were coming this month including the housing system. and now it wont be out till next year. outspark needs to stop saying things are coming out if they cant actually keep to it. yea i know all about deadlines. but if you cant make a deadline. dont publish that you basically can at the start of the month or at least put a note up saying that it wont be reached and it'll be out later on.

in the same thread, he said our housing system will be called the estate system
he also explained about how the ingame vs sc stuff will be incorporated

and outspark never promises anything - they tell you what's coming, and use their best judgement to guess when it will be ready- sometimes it's faster, sometimes it's slower - but 90% of the ppl in this thread alone would all create their own thread (rather than a central one) if the estate system was released but had many more bugs and errors in it than if you just wait for them to get it as right as they can so that the bugs will only affect a few ppl

in regards to the housing system ppl have every right to complain this was somethign we where told we would get at the beginning of the year when they mentioned all the things coming in first quarter etc and look wooot still no housing system still no cooking system.

never believe anything os says regarding whats coming out in future till the day it actually comes out as time after time after time after time it never ever happens when they say it will.

if my memory serves right the 105 lvl cap was meant to come out before xxmas 2008 then said first part of first qquarter of this year and we didnt get it till after the first quarter ><

I don't know much but basically you will be able to enter your house in towns, you'll be able to invite friends in your own map(house;smaller but it looks cool), arrange furniture, and make some gates that you'll be able to use with fame o.0, and nasty rumors say with sc =P
No special use, just a feature that sounds nice.

Outspark can only release these features when OnsOnSoft decides that they are ready and sends them over. Delays happen, there is nothing that can be done about that. No amount of posts, whether they be nice or negative will make the release of features go any quicker. We all just have to roll with it.

I'm not completely sure of the exact reason for this specific situation, but I know part of the reason for situations like this is more than likely due to Outspark not being allowed to disclose certain information with you guys due to agreements/contracts and such. They may not have enough information to actually share to make a proper announcement or update on it.

They'll have something for you guys once they are able to and get the chance.

The funny mental image I got from this aside, this is a good point. Its not easy to step up infront of the entire community and say that something you guys have been looking foward to has been delayed. They don't want to disappoint you.

Most companies have a general schedule of release for services or products. These are all presented as tentative dates because, lets face it, life gets in the way sometimes. There are a number of things that can delay the release of a product, service or feature. In this case, Outspark can give you a tentative idea of when they expect to see the housing feature released in this version, but ultimately it is dependent upon OnsOn sending it.

I'm not saying this is the situation, but if OnsOn decided that fixing something else was more important, or that the patch needed more work before it was released..it doesn't seem too outlandish that they would delay it.

I for one am glad they aren't releasing this yet if it doesn't work correctly. We don't know what features they did and didn't include with the estate system. There was an overwhelming cry for a place to store our perm sc items in our estates. Perhaps they did include it, only the items weren't retrievable after being put into storage, or they blew up, who knows. How happy would that make you to watch all your real money go poof! The point is we don't need another crippled feature in the game, more emergency maintenances possibly from them, and more negativity. Have some patience, no one was given a set date written in a legally binding document as to a release date. And seeing as there are always numerous "OS/OOS does it again" statements, why does anyone expect things to come out when they give an initial range?

I'm only going to comment on some parts of your post.
Because we don't know that is what they're doing, they could be preoccupied with another thing or have forgot about it, that or either consider we aren't worth telling or hope we've forgot about it.
While considering that they don't want to dissapoint us is one thing, being too scared to face the community is ridiculous and judging by their posts not valid.
They don't have to and can't disclose all the information to us, but not telling us anything(regarding a feature) unless we ask even if it concerned us is a bit of a stretch.

The 2 things that I believe should keep you from ranting though is the fact that they're understaffed (severely) and that the promises or information leaked regarding future patches are done on a more personal level than an official one, reason why you might be discouraging them from a repeat XD.

We were told that they'd have it ready by December. This is something that people have been looking forward to for a long, long time, and if there was even a slight chance they couldn't deliver it on time they should have held off on the announcement until they were absolutely sure. The problem they have with new content isn't that it takes longer than they think it will, it's that they tell us it'll be released soon and THEN it takes longer than they think. This whole problem could be resolved if they'd just tell us that it was going to be released a month or so after they actually expect it to be ready. That way, if they're done before the deadline they've told us, then they're done early and everyone is pleasantly surprised. If they're done on time by the deadline they gave us, then they're done on time and everyone is STILL pleasantly surprised because that never happens.

I said i agreed with that =3 , outspark is famous for withholding information then community leaders/ people of higher standings than normal players try to justify outsparks actions , i quit solstice for much this same reason , GM's ( no offense to any) refuse to talk to their player base about things , horrible communication , and to whoever said they can't due to contracts , that a bunch of bull , they can't give source codes and stuff out but they can give out information on when things are delayed/ having issue >.< we arent asking for " this line of code x is messed up and glitching with..." we are just asking for a simple " bugging is being seen with the update , it may be delayed" instead of wating until the last possible second to say " you waited so wait 2 more months"
