I understand this is a free Mmo. I also understand that if you add this feature outspark may think they are good enough to charge us to continue playing. I hope not, but here it is. I was thinking how lame it is to just cast a spell and run as a mage. I should be able to teleport on top of a hill and shoot down, i can't do that because their is not terrain. This game is just a big copy of the korean version. I already know what the next armor and weapons are gonna look like because outspark just copies Korea. I say we break from the pack and give it a special feature. With all the people that will be paying for weapon enhancements because of the +10 feature, i do believe you guys could pay your programmers to add some Terrain into the game. This game could well-beyond top Perfect World, but no, there are lazy programmers who think they can make a living off of people buyng dance moves. It's going to get old,fast. You wonder why these people who make it to 90 quit so often. Mages should be able to teleport himself and a cleric up a hill, while the Fighter lures a mob, then the mage should teleport the fighter up and blast on the creatures below. Yes this would involve a major update,and it would probably involve rewriting the entire game. I think it's worth it, this game recieves a good amount of money each month and it's being wasted on translating quest from Korea. This game is the best mmo I've run into so far, the only problems are the time it takes to level, and the fact that there is only one of three possible deminsions being put into play.

That would be a great idea,but sadly it won't happen.Fiesta only US version has the same developers as korean.So we don't get anything in plus than the.

You do understand that Korea codes BOTH games, right? Outspark is just the portal.
It's like a VW car dealership. Sure, you can buy them from washington and california, but they were still MADE at one plant. Wahington isn't "copying" California, or vice versa.
Probably a bad example, but that's what I came up with after 15 seconds.

they should update the game engine so they can do more with the game theres only so much you can do befor your game becomes outdated

fine,thats not the point though, i dont care who changes it, i would like to have terrain in the us version at some point, one way or another

And given what happens when OnsOnSoft tries to change a simple data file, I can only imagine the fun and endless emergency maintenances required to even make the game run at all after they tried to rewrite it from the ground up.

If this were true, the Abyss would be a non-PvP grinding zone and the game would have 40+ classes.
Not that OutSpark listening or not matters- if OnsOnSoft says "Nope, the terrain stays as is" then you and OutSpark both have the same options: live with it or quit.

indeed live with it or quit, if outspark likes the idea they will run it past OnsOnsSoft,if they like it alot they could say do it or we shut down,onsonssoft cant afford to lose outspark

OnsOn has quite a few publishers for Fiesta. I'm sure they wouldn't go out of business over OutSpark.

I totally agree, all i ever wanted to do was be able not to shoot a skill from the ground, but instead on a hill. I mean think about it, it totally changes the game. Imagine of the feel of looking DOWN on the mobs instead of a level environment. OOOOOOOhhhh and imagine the confusion the mobs will get when you warp away from them!!! they'll be so confused they wont know what to do. I think this is a great idea, totally forget making patches to fix unimportant issues like the bugginess of our skills (nvm this got fized.) lets focus on the aspect of how I wanna be on a hill when i fight.

You're a warrior. What would being on a hill do to affect you?
Also, let's go back to the LAST time OS tried to make something unique in our version. We ranted and raved and moaned, and complained and shot them down for it. Think they wanna do it again? I wouldn't.

wrongo,the fighter has a part,its just not attacking,the fighter mobs them,then is teleported up to prevent further damage to him,while the mage shoots them from above
plus, no one else thinks its lame to just shoot and run?we need more strategy to our fighting, im sick of having to grind one mob at a time because i am poor and cant afford +9s and special gears,mages need to be able to climb up out of danger,also add flying creatures so the fighters will actually need a mage or archer instead of defeating the purpose of the game and soloing

Where did teleporting come in? that would totally RUIN a 100 mage skill... And also mess up game play, if all you do is "teleport" out of mobs so the mages can be at the tele spawn point and be safe and AoE.

That's what mages are supposed to do! Mages aren't meant to be in it and fighting! And not every map will have accessable hills. It's merely a suggestion and outspark will work out any difficulties if they choose to follow up on it. Fiesta is a party game, not a solo game. Therefore mages were not created to be in the battle,they were created to back up while the fighter tanks and mage does the damage. Everyone is ruiningg the balance of the game by going end mage or str fighter. Well whats end gonna do while your on a hill <removed> mages!

If we weren't meant to build our chars, trust me, we wouldn't. it would be "Okay, you're a fighter" *lvl up* *str boost*. Instead we get a choice on how WE want to play the game. And from what I've seen, there isn't a whole lot of END mages. probably more DEX mages. And less and less fighters are going full STR unless they want to PK.
And what's the point in this game if you have hills that you teleport to that cause you to take no damage? They might as well just GIVE you lvl 100

did you not see the part about flying monsters?ground monsters would also probably have a long range attack,well im not sure but it takes away everything about mages if there up front fighting,its retarded

Please watch your language in your posts, cursing is not allowed in game, or anywhere on our site.
Fiesta is hosted by Outspark, meaning that Outspark has purchased the rights to publish the game from OnsOnSoft. OnsOn has 5 or 6 other companies that also publish the game. Any changes that are made to the game must be approved by their dev team, if it is not, it is not done. No matter how much we may want it.
I believe, if you were to implement the feature you seem to be pushing for, you would create a situation where fighters and clerics aren't really needed. If you can port to safety every time you mob, what do you need anyone else for?
Fiesta, meaning party, is a game designed so that each member of the party has an ideal role. Fighters tank, archers and mages DD, clerics heal. This, of course, can change a little depending on how the characters are built. The challenge of being a mage or archer is having to surivive the aggro you gain with your aoe's. If you can just port away, there is no longer a challenge.

I vote no. New additions to our version which is already in the Korean version gets bugged/glitched.
Content that differs from Korea? I don't think they can handle it. lol.

seeing as you have a problem with fiesta and like pwi, you should go back to it, or ya know stop complaining, i'm probably gonna get flamed for this but its a game. that's it suck it up or quit, or play a different game or, make your own darn game

i find this game totally unbalanced,i love this game,i would never leave for any reason,I'm merely stating that if mages exsisted,not one in their right mind would stand in a circle of mobs just to aoe them, yes this is a game,in my prior post i stated that flying monsters would still hurt a mage,theres a clerics role, it prevents them from soloing,clerics role is healing,not soloing,clerics cant touch flying monsters therefore they need archer or mage,it makes no sense at all that mages sit there and take damage,where in a normal setting they would run away and hit as they run, no mage should have enough hp that they can sit there and just take constant damage

wait, isn't there already terrains and hills? burning hill marlone clan spot, near the elderine gate in fom, the stairs in elderine and roumen, and etc?

1. Teleporting would NOT work. Why? It needs a cooldown. A skill like teleport having a 3 second cooldown so that you could teleport each individual member of your party would make PvP unbalanced since mages could just teleport away easily, and quickly.
2. This terrain makes fighters and clerics nearly USELESS in parties. A solo mage could easily get a mob, teleport and solo it him/herself.
3. FLYING MONSTERS: fail. This will make fighters and clerics party DEPENDENT. If you cannot find someone to party with you that is a mage or an archer, you will be constantly taking damage from a monster that is impossible for you to kill, and there is no way for you to stop it.
All in all: both ideas above paired it makes clerics and fighters useless, in addition to the already useless archers. If they did this, it would completely unbalance gameplay, everyone would become a mage, and everything would fail.

indeed...well,thats why we leave it up to onsonsoft to work it out if they like the base idea,and we need to have more clerics and fighters party dependant,i see people soloing a quest that i cant solo and i ask for help they wont help,it would make it faster but no,flying monsters would end that,

No. Your ideas don't equal more clerics and fighter's PT'ing. It equals everyone quitting their current char to make an invincible mage.
