I cant run the luncher

What is your Os? (Windows xp, vista ect.)

Did you try restarting? getting nessecary drivers? so on so forth!

I`m no technical genius, but I`d say you didn`t download it from the official website, and wherever you got it from, a few nessecary files are missing, just a thought!

i did download from outspark's site with flashget. and im pretty sure that my comp meets the ruquirement. but my windows xp is thai language edition but i dont think thats the problem. anyway if u can find that file i need. can u send it to me, so i can try if it gonna work. >_<

Almost impossible, there is no way I could find the file you need without being present of the problem, sorry.:(

Please, download the client from official site (If its to slow, click save instead of run) And install it from there.

Write in this thread if the problem continues!
I will keep a close eye on this thread ;)

For that matter, just post the solution here, so far a lot of ppl have had that issue and not even the gms have an answer (they're aware of the issue and are working on it... or at least that's what GM_Murdock sayd)

Lets try to throw this problem into 'almost' obvious perspectives.

Your getting error messages either because you are download from other sites aside from the official download (THIS may be causing the problem.)

Another problems could be your OS, but you can instal a program with diffrent cabailtys for others OS's (I.e. I could install a game with the power of XP instead Of Vista)

One problem I hade when i was downloading Tales of Pirates Online (Which I now want to play o.o) Is that I didn't have direct X and it was looking for direct X dll's but it was incapable of finding them (Vista helped me out with this ;)) So I downloaded and installed Dierect X and the game set up properly.

Make sure you are doing ABSOLUTELY everything you can to make the game install properly!

(For those of us running 98' as an OS, I don't think this game goes on anything below XP.)

If your downloding a zip file (from mirror sites) Try unzipping and then installing (Dunno exactly how that one works -.^ but apparently it does, something to do with win zip not extracting all the files properlly, if possible get a better version of win zip)

Oh is anyone getting anyway messages like WINAP or something?

The issue with the launcher can be resolved by manually downloading and installing the patch. Please save to your desktop, and install it from your desktop. Here is a link that will help.

At the moment it really makes no difference if you can or cannot run the launcher. You cannot play anyway.
