can anyone help me? i get this message at bottom of login screen, and when i exit it, it says: see logfile 'C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe.log for details.

I don't know whats wrong because 4 days ago it was fine.. maybe something to do with new patches?
Oh, and also, it doesnt even have the "login" button available to click (i can type in username and password, but not press login)
NOTE: i HAVE re-installed, re-started, and freed up space on my hard-drive several times.

Same Here Never Had any problem with Fiesta till now.. But Luck has to end someday GM try fix as soon as u can :)

The issue with the launcher can be resolved by manually downloading and installing the patch. Please save to your desktop, and install it from your desktop. Here is a link that will help.

i'm having the same problem,
"error connecting to update server: (11001, 'getaddrinfo failed')"
i downloaded the patch listed in this post, and another one i found in the forums
so that's...
1.2.70
and
1.2.71
and it still doesn't work
i get the loading screen, that error shows in the bottom left, then it goes to a "page cannot be displayed" screen
and nothing happens

any help with this matter would be appreciated

alos haveing the same problem and link not working for me too well the link works but when i run fiesta it still gives the same problem

thats becuase it's an old patch it does not update anything

hm..., i sense that the patch server is down, because it keeps on displaying the 'downloading patch' words there but nothing happens. So I suspect it is the patch server problem, cannot connect to the patch server. I try to install the 1.2.71 patch launcher but still the same result.

Look; I tried the patch that was suggested, but I still get the same error message. I am looking at replies posted herein, and it seems like others are in the same predicament as me. The only feature on my computer that doesn't seem to function properly is Outspark Launcher: This leads me to believe that the problem exists with the launcher. Is anything being done to correct the situation?

Hmm i thought mabe it was jus my computer but i guess not i still haven't been able to get back online yet i wonder wats up with the patch though

now i get a dns error and i cant access the site. i had to run to a friend's house to use his wireless. maybe cause i use DSL and thats the cause?

This is a DNS problem, i have too this problem buti can solver but i can publish that information because GM's can bann me...

I wonder what kind of script they use to build there game. im a game programmer and if i had to guess id say that they probably just miss spelled something when writing there server code. i know torque uses client based code and server based code. all it took was a "2" and my game didnt work for the longest time. it took forever to fix too.

Outspark team work to get more good game but have full job all day, think on that, just all waiting to come back.

That maybe true but you think they can also let us know wats going on and how long it will take to fix...as far as I know they haven't done that yet...

GM Murdoch did put up a patch with instructions to save to ur deskt top and then run it from there. it also seems that didnt work for anyone. it didnt for me anyways.

I sincerely apologize for being unable to connect to our website or launch Fiesta. The patch link should be online and working properly, I checked it myself just a minute ago. If you are having trouble with the new Outspark Launcher patching, you can manually install it with this link:

If you continue to have problems with our patch server, you can send us an email at support@outspark.com and we can then assist you further. When you send the email, could you please include the following details:

1) Your complete computer specifications including your Operating System, Video Card, RAM, and CPU
2) Your Internet Connection speed
3) A screenshot if possible of the error message
4) Your Outspark.exe log file attached to the email

By default, this file is located at

C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe

If you are having a 'getaddrinfo' issue this is due to a recent DNS server change that we made this morning. You can reset your DNS by either resetting your modem or router (if you are using one) by either unplugging it from its power source and waiting 10 seconds to re-plug it in, OR by holding the reset button until all the lights flash on an off. If this does not work, you will most likely need to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them to reset your DNS.

I hope this helps to resolve your issues and thank you for your patience.
