GM pls help me with my launcher... every time i open my Sos launcher a message appears. Something about the outspark.exe.log and also the update... please help..

Quite some people seem to have the same issue, as far as I know, there's no way around it (GMs have suggesting trying again or manually donwloading the fiesta patch... none worked for me xd)

The GM is wrong though, because most people are asking about SoS, not Fiesta, and he gives us a Fiesta Patch. It'd be best if he gave us an SoS Patch instead. Fiesta Patches will not work with SoS Patches, its a totally different game. So its actually quite stupid to even try patching a Fiesta Patch with SoS. It is obvious it will not work. I am working on a fix, and its about done, its just taking me a while.

I asumed the patch wouldn't work but as I was rather desperate to play, I tried anyway T-T (besides someone sayd that downloading and installing fiesta did solve this problem for him, didn't for me tough)

Doesn't seem like the gms will give any real solution to this, so you seem to be the biggest hope for everyone else with this damn error.

I have the solution to fix the problem now, I just need 1 thing. I need the file that the error says is not present. Hopefully a GM or Admin could send me the file, so I can work with it. I know what to do with it, and as soon as I have the file, and I put my idea to work, and try it out, which I really think it'll work, I'll get back on here, and share it with everyone. I just need that file, and I can do it!

Well, from what I've found the patch installer fails because it can't find apps.conf. Looking deeper, its not the solstice patch thats failing. Its the patch for the launcher. Once that fails, everything else sort of just crashes and finalizes with the outspark client crashing as well. (Its logfile has an error saying ti cannot find the solstice patch file.) Interestingly enough the directory its looking for the solstice patch file is not the one that the patch file gets put into in my temp directory. So it appears the whole problem seems to stem from the launcher patch and possibly an incorrect path in the installers as well.

I have been trying for 5 minutes now and im pretty sure that you guys are right about SoS using the wrong game patch.

P.S.I wonder how long its going to take before they fix this problem ;)

Considering that a gm just gave us the fiesta patch and said if that didn't work to contact customer support, my guess is a loooong loooooong time :)

I'm sure the switch from Closed Beta to Open beta caused some hiccups. Strange that one of the hiccups is the inability to fix a patching problem.

The link to that patch Claiomh.Solais said is dead, well for now.
I'm having the same problem, and i wanted to fix it so i can play Sos when the OB arrives and get my guys back to level.
