Item Grade

ive been wondering ive seen items that say grade 1 and grade 2 on it, whats the real difference between these 2? im assuming that grade 2 has higher stats?

Item Level, you mean?

Items from 1-20 are "Item Level 1".
Items from 24-50 are "Item Level 2".
Items from 54-70? are Item Level 3".

I believe it's 54, but I could be mistaken. I do know that the change to Lvl3 is not at 50, but shortly after. I forgot to check last time I was in Uruga though. Someone that's actually into their 50's can confirm this, or repute it. :)

Basically, the level of an item determines what grade of upgrade stone you have to use. Elrue[1], Elrue[2] and Elrue[3] for example.

well ya thats what it is but im confused when it says the chance of the item enchantment depends on its lvl.......... does it mean when it gets higher lvl its higher chance or what.....
