A Few Questions

okay My husband and I are looking for a NEW MMO to play together and i came across this game. So far we've went through many mmo's and there is something disappointing about them all. This game seems so promising as to what we are looking for in a game, but i have a few questions before i spend hours downloading it.


Population:
Is this game popular enough where you can actually find people to play with and pvp with?

PVP:
How's the PVP? Is it broken? Or work well and is fun? Is there a big penalty for pvping? (Like loot droping or jail or such)

Movement:
How do you move your character? Is it a click to move or a Keyboard movement? or both?

Can you keybind?

how is the Crafting/Profession system?

How much does the cash shop come into play? In other words are our characters going to be crap unless we spend hundreds in the cash shop?

The population is great, I think only on Cypion server it's a bit low.
You can pvp in abyss if you don't have teva you lose exp, free battle zones don't have any penalty and there is one in Roumen, Elderine and Uruga and last you have pvp kingdom quest where you get exp and a chest at the end no penalty for dieing.
You move with both mouse and keyboard.
You can choose from 5 different alchemy skills Stone, Scrolls, Potion, Decomp and Comp. The first 3 you can make and then sell or use and the last 2 help to get the mats you need for the first 3.
You can level to atleast 91 on quest without the cashshop. 91+ is all grind so it's a lot harder to level when you lose exp everytime you die. And most people use the cashshop items in pvp.
If you decided to play this first thing you should do is join a guild academy. Those give money and/or items each time you level which makes it easier on the lower levels.

With the exception of Cypion (and perhaps Legel), the servers are fairly populous.

PVP:
How's the PVP? Is it broken? Or work well and is fun? Is there a big penalty for pvping? (Like loot droping or jail or such)
In my opinion, the PvP is not completely broken, but it is certainly damaged. The classes are not balanced as well as they might be, and the cash shop skews things even further. You can PvP in guild wars, in a certain kingdom quest, in free battle zones, or in the abyss. In the abyss, you will lose exp. if you are killed. There is no penalty for PvPing.

Movement:
How do you move your character? Is it a click to move or a Keyboard movement? or both?
Both.

Can you keybind?
I believe so. I am satisfied with the default controls, however, so I have never tried to change them.

how is the Crafting/Profession system?
I find production to be tedious in the extreme, though if you have the patience, it can be a nice source of income.

How much does the cash shop come into play? In other words are our characters going to be crap unless we spend hundreds in the cash shop?
The cash shop is as big or small a factor as you wish to make it. In terms of PvE, you can get along well enough without it, but doing so will be much more tedious. If you plan to do serious PvP, however, the unfortunate reality is that you will probably need to keep up with the Joneses.
