Unable to connect to the remote server??? In Launcher Page??

That's the message I get whenever I try to start Fiesta up in the Launcher. The Launcher will have a "Navigation to the webpage canceled" and that error message under the login boxes. Help please I really want to play

Seems like the launcher is trying to connect to a local server of some sort using the port 5555, I'm guessing that's to communicate with Xtrap or the Fiesta client, either way the connection is being refused, maybe a firewall issue?

I'd try temporary disabling your firewall before you run the launcher and seeing if it helps, if yes you might want to allow connections to port 5555 in the future.

how do you open ports then?
and I tried disabling my firewall and it didnt work

Well if disabling the firewall didn't help then opening specific ports through it won't either..

It sounds like a pretty interesting problem though.. I'd suggest downloading and reinstalling the launcher then as I can't really think of anything else for now. :/

Maybe someone else has a better idea, or try submitting a ticket to the Outspark Support (http://support.outspark.com/) and see what they have to say.


Oh and just wondering, has this problem been occurring for long or only recently? It may be related to what's going on in here: http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=238374

i MIGHT have found the problem!! if i didn't know any better i would say that its because Internet Explorer Cannot connect to the internet, is this happening to anyone else? because this same thing happens on Crazy Tao online. everyone who has this problem go open up internet explorer and see if it can connect to the internet... i only need to know how to get it to connect now...

Is it on Offline mode perhaps?

Open IE and check the File menu if Work Offline is ticked, other than that it might be a proxy setting?

my internet is online. i already checked. i have redownloaded fiesta two times, and i have checked the firewalls. none of thoes are my problem.... anyone have another idea?

I can log to server just fine.. but trying to log my charachters in game, it starts loading, but gives me this "the map is under maintenance, please try again later" -message. My other account works just fine. My husband has the issue with both his accounts. What should we do?

I guess send a ticket, that is the first thing everyone are going to suggest and ofc we do this too, but knowing how busy they are and it is weekend coming too, I would love to play at the few free days I have, besides I have quite a chunk sc running in there too -.- Waiting for 3-4 days is not like the best choise I have here.

So if anyone has a quick solution to this, I would really appreciate it.

Oh.. and please give me the solution in "instructions for dummies"-form.. I am the proud member of I Can Not Use A Computer- club. :p

Edit Okies.. seems that all my mains are just on the areas that really are not working.. Uruga, Goblin Camp etc... We got in the few that were in Eldy. Nvm my whining I sorta did not realise so many maps could be down at same time.. I still could not log my lil chars on Epith though. Few of em were in Elderine too, still getting the "map is under maintenance" message.. so I guess there is something not quite right in any case. Geez how helpless can I feel with these things. O.o

Edit2 Hahhaaa... now none of my accounts can get anywhere, with any char on any map.. yay. Someone do something.. >.<; Ohhh and failed to connect the world server! Gah. Ima go read a book!
