Profile woes

I have a user name, I responded to the email like a good lad, I can log to the webpage and I can edit my signature. But, I can't edit my profile. I a am logged in and I click the link for edit profile and I get

"Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page".

Why am I not authorized to edit my own profile?

What do you mean by Access denied? Does ur computer have an internet filter? or something like that?

In order to adjust your account you must be verified. At the time of account sign up we send out a verification email. You were instructed to click on the link to verify. I will look into your account to make sure you have been verified.

I did respond to that email.

I am also receiving "Access Denied" and I am sure I responded to that original verification email.
