Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First of all I would like to thank you for reading my guide and choosing the right class for SoS. This guide is full of information for old and new fighters. There are many things in this guide from stat distribution to where to train. I hope that you find this guide useful when making your fighter. Thank you and good luck!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fighter Information
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fighters in SoS are basically the same as any other warrior class in any other mmorpg. Fighters hack through monsters like a hot knife through butter and can withstand things that most other classes could not. Below are some pros and cons to having a Fighter.
Pros
High Attack
High HP
High Def.
Can Easily Solo
Cons
Low Atk Speed
Slow Leveler
Low Magic Def.
~~~~~
Stats
~~~~~
These are the starting stats of the fighter at level 16.
Starting Stats
Pow-13
Int-1
Men-1
Agi-4
Sta-4
Wis-1
These are the stats REQUIRED to make the job advancement to become a fighter. There are many different stat builds for a fighter, below are the seemingly most effective.
Power Build
This build is pretty straight forward. Just put every stat point into POW.
Example:
Level 17: POW+1
Level 18: POW+1
Level 19: POW+1
Agi Build
This build is the most recommended because you hit more consistantly then in the POW and you have a higher crit and dodge rate.
Example:
Level 17: POW+1
Level 18: POW+1
Level 19: AGI+1
Tank Build
This build is the least recommended. You will have significantly more HP than a regular Fighter, but you will not be hitting NEARLY as much as one.
Example:
Level 17: POW+1
Level 18: POW+1
Level 19: STA+1
~~~~~~~
Skills
~~~~~~~
The warrior skills are pretty much self explanatory. All you need to know is that you need to get every skill that you can from the SkillBook seller. Please note that you CAN find skill books by killing mobs. Further skill information will come out once OB starts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hunting Grounds
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The best way to train is by yourself. As a fighter soloing will level you the fastest. The best way to train is to move onto a map where the mobs names are slightly red but not fully red. Listed below are some of the training grounds.
1. Brynhilde Trisects (located outside of South Gate)
2. Waimea Gorge
3. Death Valley
4. Routuer Valley
5. Augillas Gorge
6. Mystra Hill
7. Mystra Basin
8. Luan Basin
9. Thyora Forest
All of these maps are in sequential order and can be easily found by going to the one before it.
~~~~~~~~~
Equipment
~~~~~~~~~
The equipment that you can obtain in this game comes at you pretty straightforward. You can obtain equipment at different levels by buying it from the right NPC's. There are +1 equipments that are slightly better than regular equipments, but they can only be found from mobs and are sold for a lot. It is not recommended that you buy +1 equipment until you reach level 32+.
~~~~~~~~~~
Usefull Tips
~~~~~~~~~~
Below are some usefull tips for someone who may be fairly new to the game.
-When you find an item of value (+1 equip, luckyball, etc.) Do not waste your time selling it while you are playing. Instead of logging out when you are done, simply open up your shop and sell all of your stuff while you are away. By the time you come back most or all of your stuff should be sold, saving you valuable training time.
-If you are having trouble getting your hotkey bar to come up, press F12. ( A lot of people in town were asking about this)
-Most quests in this game are a waste of time, but there are still a few that can actually give you a pretty good amount of EXP or Kron. Look every so often around town for a quest that might be decent looking. Do not attempt to do quests that give you barely anything because they are just a waste of time (unless you are really bored ^^)
-Go to events! Going to events is a really good way to meet new people and fill up your buddylist really fast. It also gives you a small break from training and exploring with your Fighter.
Conclusion
I would like to thank you for reading this guide. I will be adding more to this guide after Open Beta starts for SoS. I hope to see you all around then :]
