Right... but it is not usually that two mages are fighting each other (most GW i fought, there was maybe one mage and then he was much weaker or much stronger then me), but you are right^^

I agree completly, INT is way better. Only use for SPI is for PvP, where a crit may unballance an eternal fight due to stones and pots and I wouldn't advise more than 25 SPI in any case the rest INT else your regular damage drops too much and crits aren't that common even with full SPI.
Spirit works well at low lvls (-30) the problems start then when you have already invested lots of time in your character. At first +1.2 damage don't make much difference but when you put 25 its +30 armor ignoring damage per spell, just machinegun them with fast low level spells.

Yea, i haved to agree, with him as well. Int is much better, i think it;s wise to have like 20-30 spi, the rest int. THe power is good and when we doi get pvp, when ppl start team pvp'ing ppl will want a strong mage who can support well, spr is no good to a party. SO int is better, spr is need but not too much, beside the critical hit increase is crappy. U'll do more dmg with int. Look at some of the ultiment mage guide on the forum here, somebody figured out the #'s on how int does more dmg than spr critacal hits.:D

Mages don't listen to this guy, whats a "fighter" doing on our forum. Really now a i dont care how high his level is HE"S a fighter. This is a mage issue fighters have no say in it. GO HOME FIGHTER... nah im kidding, but really what u know? ur not a mage

25 SPR Rest INT is the way to go... but if you want to go another way, go on ahead... I don't mind having a more powerful mage then you. :cool:

I have made a plan for my stats up to lvl100 lemmie no what u ppl think,:D
This has been edit, so at the top is my stats, but i forgot about the bouns stat u get every tine u increase1 stats 5 times, so at the bottom is the revised stat's and how they will effect me in the end,read this part first if'd u like, but the second paret at the bottom here has the real #'s

Yea im getting end, i dont like being papper, i mean the like 30+hp from end and 30+sp as well as like 3Mgicdef and normal Def is good. I'm trying to plan more stats, but i think like 20spr and 15end the rest Int should be pretty sweel. End will give me a little more hp and Def and Spr will give me a little more sp and magic def. I'll hvae (if i ever get too lvl100) Ill have 80int witch is +96magic dmg. Witch is not that bad, and if i got 83 int then +99.6 Magic dmg. My bounus hp will be for 15end 75extra hp and 60extra hp for 12 end my def will be like +7.5 for 15end and 6 for 12 end also ill have 100 extra sp as well as +10magic def, i may do 12 end and 23spr witch is 115sp and 11.5 magic def. But all an all. i think a little end would really help a mage. Also If u go
full int u will get =138Magic dmg
Full End +8.25%block, +57.5def, +575hp
Full spr +14%crit, +57.5Mdef, +575sp
So me personally i'd like to have my liitle bit of end and spr, that why insted of me being papper thing... ill be as thin as cradbord.
Also 80int is alot, i plan to go into my Lvl20 Job change at lvl25 with 5end 5spr and like 15int witch adds up to be
my int will give me =18 Magic dmg
My spr will give me +25sp and 2.5magic def
My end will give me +25hp and +2.5 def
Witch im sure will help me in my second class change quest, also afterwards i will use the 5 points as such

so if all goes as plans by the time i have my second class change ill have
19int=+22.8Magic dmg
6end=+30spr and 3Magic Def
6spr=+30hp and 3Def
From then i will increase only my int until it's 40 witch would put me at lvl46 then i'd up my End and Spr Until there 12. From there I'd mostlike ly be able to do the next class change and i'd use the 10 points as well as the lvlup ill get there mostlikey to get me to 23spr. From there it's all int.
Ok i tottally forgot about the 1 bounus stat for every 5 stats u put, for example if i go 80 int ill get Like 16extra int. So know if u would like to readon. ill display the rest of the finnally stats.
With all the bonus stats points added in and stat placemtn revised becasue of the bonus stat, here's how my stats whould add up
Int97
+116.4 Magic dmg
Spr25
+125sp +12.5 Magic Def
End15
+75hp +7.5def
So here are the new stats,i hope to try to get 3 more int from gear and aabout 5 more end from gear, witch if it foes as plans will give me +30hp and +3def witch puts the total to +105hp and 10.5def, if i get the 3 int ill have +120magicdmg,
So what u ppl's think of my stat plan.

well there are kinda equal, but id prefer int for consistency
where 1 point of int gives 1.2 Mdmg
and 1 point of spr gives .5 Mdef
so you need 2 points of spr to offset each point of dmg that 1 point of int gives, however spr does give you the crit, which would cover the extra dmg gap

UNLESS you have no intention of ever going past level 59 when cap is set higher. If you plan on staying at level 59 for eternity, then go with full Int.
