In Epith, there is a staggering lack of hellgaits, besides xbows, which there is an abundance, of because of the lack of high level archers and thier high drop rate. There is currently, LITTERALLY, a waiting list for the high level guilds who can do raids.

The list consists of everyone in the guild waiting on them and everyone who plans to buy them. If I'm doing my math right, I should get a hellgait staff or wand sometime durring durring fall, that will probably end up being pathetically statted. That's without including the interuptions from other guilds, and aaaaalllll the people who plan to get one after me, will end up having to wait longer and longer. While I understand that Hellgaits are supposed to be special items, this is just obsurd.

They are being stockpiled by guilds. If you ever plan to get one, you need to A) Join a guild that litterally requires you buy SC and be able to use a HG before joining. B) Wait a ridiculously long time and get a pathetic one, because if it's good it's given to a guild member with a bad one, which is then given to you. C) Hack someone. (not a viable option)

I see a few problems. 1) The least used HG is the most commonly dropped, or so I'm told. 2) All decent ones are being held by guilds you can't get into, for one reason or another.
3) There aren't enough of them for the who HAVE earned the money to buy them, yet alone the people in guilds getting them free.
4) As said guilds continue to get better gear, they (at least in epith's case) continue to get more and more aggresive to all other players who want anything that interferes. Making it harder still to level past 90 for players not in said guilds.

If I sound like I'm complaining about my personal problems, in part, I am. But if I were the only person I thought was or would be having this problem, I wouldn't be posting it.

There is another way to get em get 40 lvl 95 uber friends and farm HG every day in 40 days everyone will have a HG they can sell/trade for the HG they want/or get the one they actually want.

They buffed up Helga so much, the newer servers can't take Helga since we don't have Hellgaits in the first place. I mean, first they have the debuff and now they can't even cure it.

Having a helgait is not a prereq. of killing helga.
Having a large group of people who will work together (and work together well), and that aren't afraid to spend A LOT of money to receive ONE drop (one drop that will likely tear said group apart in the end anyways)

I'm sure it's possible to kill once a larger number of people reach 100/105 on those servers. All a helgait does is make it possible to kill in 10 minutes. (or less...)

Yea lol and due to the fact I'll prolly never get a Helgait getting one would just be Icing on the cake for me. HG's are not as prerequisite for anything they just make everything easier.

Having a Hellgait does nothing for actually killing Helga, it just lets you kill him faster, in the case of the main guilds, allows you to hog all Helga kills, so that no one else can get stronger.

If you want to get an HG, you need to actively attend raids and wait patiently. Theres tons of 10xs who don't even have HG's yet. I think that their chance to get one comes first.

Damn, did you not read anything? I have not seen a SINGLE staff or wand in shop in Epith. I have more than enough money, the problem is finding ONE. If it were only SC, believe me, it would be easy to get a head start and outdamage them. Unless you're thinking of TBKR(even then Hellgaits are still stronger), yes, there is a MASSIVE difference between HG and BK. The amount added form +10ing a HG is almost the same as the entirety of a +10 BK. Along with the incredibly higher aim, again, almost double and much higher crit. Come to Epith, make a gem, and then try to buy a Hellgait, unless you're buying an xbow, it's not going to happen.

Helgaits ARE meant to be EXCLUSIVE items. Consider the fact that it takes atleast 20 lvl95+ players to bring Helga down, and it only drops 1 HG per death (long ago it used to drop 2). The math says not everyone who wants one will get one. If someone is lucky enough to get one why would they sell it?
Having all the money in the world is pointless if you cant buy what you want.
I play on Epith too. I have been raiding since they opened helag's tomb. This very topic created rifts on our server that still exist today. Sadly i dont think it will ever change. My advise to you is find a BKR, or work in building up your own guild until you're strong enough to kill helga. If you have never actually participated in a raid you have no idea how difficult it is.

While I'm now going to buy a TBK and use it, until I just happen across a Hellgaits or am strong enough to raid with my friends, I still think there SHOULD be another way to get Hellgaits.

There's also the making of Succubus Karen... When that comes out Helga will probably open up and give the other guilds a chance to attain helgaits.

Sometimes you just gotta settle Cat I know good as hell Players that have BKR's not because their poor cuz they don't have the right connects. Alotta Players in these Top ranking guilds are "experiments" meaning their only great cuz they have access to the best things the server provides but thats where they lack skills. You can make up for it in skills, I'll prolly have a +10 BK Axe till I hit 100 the 1k dmg dif between a HG +10 Axe and BK +10 Axe is alot but just that isn't gonna stop me from hitting 100/killing people. Its either that or do something about your self and get in those guilds or make your own and have patience I know alotta people that just settled but because of it got to the better things faster like making Epic guilds PvP'ing and dropping lvl 100's when you get a chance to do those things it doesn't matter the weapon you have at that point.

Last i heard helga tomb is an open map. Evey player on the server has the right to go in. Thoes players also have the right to attack/kill helga if they can. I dont think its possible to "KS" helga.
