*In the spirit of getting things done and seeing things improve, I'm asking for everyone to please share their Language Filter Horror Stories.*

The Language Filter shouldn't filter out the words butt and *** because they're part of common American dialect and are also present in many english words and common word combinations, besides both words are present in quest dialogue. Other words need special exemptions when used as part of a legitimate word or legitimate combination of words. Some examples of words and word combinations that would normally be Censored, thus leading people who*try and guess the dirty word.

"An all out attack"

"****l out attack"

"Circumstances"

"Cir****stances"

"Hit it!"

"Hi****"

"Please assist."

"Please ****ist"

"Title"

"****le"

"Micky Mouse"

"****y Mouse"

There are many innocious words and word combinations that are filtered, resulting in people actually playing a little guessing game and word search puzzle in which they try and guess the word. At present the language filter does more harm than good, and butchers the english language.

I pray they let us have the ability to toggle that disaster of a chat filter on/off

They can cover their own A$$ ( pun intended) by sticking a disclaimer or clause in the EULA that 99.9% of people never read to begin with.

I can't remember all the words they censored, but, like most people here...I've had some pretty interesting "conversations" thanks to the stupid filter. Really , nobody in their right mind is going to cuss on an mmorpg anyway. I do know there are idiots out there that don't care and in fact go online for the sole purpose of messing with people and ruining things for everybody else....

Any way, I agree....the way it is now....it's just sad.

Ya, they should just censor it if the word is by itself. maybe theres just a problem with the censor system and theyll fix it.

*****hat. Has anyone seen my bu.tt hat? - But that.

*****his. But this.

***** YEAH! HE.LL YEAH!

So, are you *****ian? (Are you Ian?... ok ok) So, are you Christian?

Ok, this one is probably one of the weirdest. Try naming your char "Chazz". It'll give you the message "Please choose a real name". I feel sorry for anyone named Chazz.

But there have been censored things where I went like wah? Things that sound like "samp" or something, should have screened them. But really weird things that maybe only the most English of English people have ever heard.

Also pu.ta is censored, though that still makes a bit of sense, though in slang and normal words "pu.ta" does still come. COMPUTA! (really bad, but at right moments pretty funny o.O;)
