I bet most of experience players already know the trick.
I think still some new player have problem with doing lvl 20 job quest.
I just want to share how I do the quest easy with mage and fighter
how to do lvl 20 profession quest easy
1. drag your armors and weap icon from bagpack into hot key slots. bring lots pots like 50+/ stones/ vitaliy+shield scroll just one each.
2. take off all the cloth and weap by using hot keys[1-0] you made before you talk with master shean
3. use vitality and shield scroll [i use these scroll after i get into quest place]
4. once you say "I will", you will be teleported to quest room. click the armors and weap icon in hot key. i recommend to equip weap at last. your clone will be naked [no armor/ no weap]. If you enter the quest room with +9 weapon and armors, your clone will have +9 items and hit you hard...
5. fight with your clone. he will run away once he lose about 10% of his hp.
6. follow the path and kill kebings and skelly. If you see the blue light, take off your equipment again. once you reach to red stone[the end of the blue light guiding path], wear armors and weap slowly.
7. kill stone guardian, malrone fighter/ archer- they are easy.
8. you will deal with your clone with lots hp and damages. your clone will hit you about 50-80 damages with bear hands.
* I even take off all the jewels also.. remember to wear your weap at last.*

You know that you can reequip even the armors once your clone attacks you at the second encounter? Then his damage would be around 20 each hit ... if he even hits

Nope it's 50-80.
All of this information is on FiestaFan anyway.

The lvlup quest is a joke, even without this trick. I have no idea why people have problems with it. I've done it with all 4 classes, and on my mage and archer I used maybe 15 stones total. 10 on fighter, and less than 5 on cleric.
It's a joke of a quest. If it's supposed to be a challenge, it fails. I can't believe people have problems with it, honestly.

No...you are missing the point. The test itself is not difficult, but it's about how to use less pots and stones. There are ACTUALLY new players that take those test with their FIRST characters. Unlike people that already have a high level character and sitting on top of bunch of golds and silvers to fund their newly made character, new players are poor and would find using stones and pots (and scrolls) as a luxory. So every stone and pot which they can save counts.

You think I already had a high level when I did the quest the first time? It was easy then, as a new player, 1 day old. It's easy now. Using stones is a luxury? It's pretty much a requirement, unless you want to sit in your house all day. It's not hard to make enough cash to replenish your stones and buy armor. People just aren't frugal enough, and sell too much to NPCs instead of other players.

The test was more annoying then hard in my case, despite I didn't use the naked method.
Always kill off the golems when they show up; otherwise the final fight will be
more of a fuss then it has to be.
And when it comes to stones and pots: I mix between selling to NPCs, folks and make my own pots and still could afford max stones and 50/50 in pots. As well as not enhancing anything. ^_^'

I was just stating how many people are...they would not use pots unless they absolutely need to, or even don't use them even when needed...all for the sake of saving some coppers.
I will admit my comment was wrong, IF you can honestly say in Kingdom Quest, you've never seen main tank over depending on Clerics to heal and not using pots/stones end up dying, or Mages not attacking just sitting in Mushroom to recover SP instead of using pot/stone during the battle with the boss(es).

Really? I doubt it. I only got 20 dmg and I have done it several times myself. My brother is my witness. :P But I used a Tier 1 defense scroll, perhaps that's the reason? ... but I doubt that too. >.>
Ah, whatever. At least it isn't a amount of damage you won't survive for long. ;)
