Fame For Furniture.

Will we be able to pay for furniture with our fame in the near future. reason i'm asking is because it's basically a useless feature unless you use it to pay for production stuff and the skills at certain levels.

i disagree, i think it should be game money, not fame
it's not like the stuff is expensive, it's very cheap in fact, but people do use fame, and it's not always easy to rebuild your fame at the higher levels as you get no fame for grinding, so those that use it would not be able to use their housing feature

but everyone can make money in the game, from lvl1 to after-cap

yes but what about those who dont use it (like me for example) i've been at max for ages and it's not like i'm ever gonna use it because i make elrues and scrolls. so all the fame i get is going to waste anyway. i think we should be able to decide if we want to use money or fame.

silvers can be made any time but for us caped players that use fame we would have too remake a char too get more fame so i say silver is better than fame ~.~

If you cant afford it, go to someone elses house, like they said before, its not THAT expensive. Use your fame for skills, keep the furniture @ $, because money I can make, fame... no so much.

but whats the point then in having all this fame coming in from the quests i do when it's not even going anywhere to begin with. i'm maxed out and it's sitting there because i dont do any other production apart from stones and scrolls and i'm sure those who make these will agree. i'm lvl 71 so the next time i get another skill i can pay for with fame wot be for a while yet. so like i said. make it so you can buy furniture with fame or money. it gives it a reason for being there instead of "50,000/50,000" being shown there and nothing being done with it.

I think the fact tht you have capped fame is telling you soemthing... Take up comp/decomp. Using fame would not only hurt the capped players or players with few quests but it would hurt the compers and decompers too.

Not to mention silver IS easy to obtain now days... Heck, do any KQ from 60+ and you make a few hundered silver off mats if you sell them, don't you?

Learn to comp/decomp and you'll use it right up

stop making the same point over and over, we get it, you dont want to use your fame for skills, and you dont want to use your money for your house. MY SOLUTION FOR YOU... go to someone elses house.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure there are more people who DON'T use fame in this game than people who do? Also, is the furniture tradable between players? If so, some one who actually needs their fame could use in game currency to pay some one else to use their fame to buy it. That really won't work out the other way around though.

if there was only 1 person that used fame in the course of the game, why should they be penalised for actually using their prod skills?
i may comp and decomp to a certain point, but i certainly do it for other people on many more occasions - not everyone wants to do all the productions, not everyone wants to do any, but just because some people find it to be a useful thing that helps them make money (anyone will tell you i'm not poor, and virtually every copper is because of my production skills) shouldn't mean they are forced to use game money to buy fame items from other players

the fair option is to make the estate items buyable by everyone in the game no matter what their level or playing status. every single player can make easy money - only "levelling" players can make fame.

if these things cost like hundreds of silvers or even golds, then there would be a tiny argument, but they are incredibly cheap compared to a lot of things in the game, there is no need to have 35 benches in your "house", so it won't cost much to deck it out how you like it.

and if you can't afford it, as many people have said, the main point is to buid more of a community aspect, so go to other houses and hang out in those instead, make new friends, and so on and so forth.

Why not just do what someone else suggested and have an option, so you get to choose whether to pay in silver or fame? Should be easy to implement.

noone's forcing you to take up comp/decomp, but you would be forcing compers/decompers to spend silver, when you would effectively get stuff for free

how is that fair?

all i'm saying is just give us the option to choose if we want to pay with fame or with silver. not every low level just starting the game for the first time can afford a sofa for 38s. the higher levels can pay with silver if they want to that way they can keep their fame (i understand that it's a pain with no quests. i seen enough threads complaining about lack of quests after 90). and those in the lower levels can spend the fame they get from quests that's just sitting there if they dont take comp/decomp if they dont have enough silver.
