mage lvl 20 promotion

how did anyone get pass the lvl 20 promotion? the shadow hits way too hard even when all gears are removed, it its way too fast for the pots and hp stones to catch up and its HP is as high as a lvl 80s >_> how did anyone compleye this crap? i rolled through it like i was killing roumen mobs on my archer but on a mage... whew i feel like i should wait dozen more lvls.

With ease, a couple of T1 scrolls, and no cleric buff. *shrug*

I didnt remove my equipment. I just had full hp and sp stones and about 70+ hp potions and had a cleric buff me. Make your first move a heal then just do potion, attack, stone, attack, attack, potion...and so on. Just heal non stop! I went threw 40-50 hp potions. Also read the forum for mage level 20 promo. After I read that I passed on my next try.

Removing your equipment doesn't change anything except for how your shadow looks. The shadow has the same base stats and skills with or without the gears. If you're stil having trouble, make sure you have the strongest gears and skills, and enhanced gears would also help. Use the weapons you got from the King Slime if they're enhanced, and maybe get a few of your armor to +3. And like everyone said, ask a cleric to buff you, scroll up, and make sure you have enough stone and pots.

You can kite your shadow out into the corridor so the other mobs don't follow, if it helps.
