Auction House

Having a Auction house in fiesta would be so much better for our game play
more people could level more often, no more shouting in eld,roumen,uru ext..
Andddd No more lags in towns for those you have to go in hide mode every time you go into a towns and get d/c
All the things I could think of what you guys got?
Ohhh and adding a mail box in fiesta to so it would easier to move your stuff from your acc
to your other acc or you could mail your friends items or money!!
It would be so much easier for our game play!!! :eek:
So I ask you guys!! what do you think about this? wouldn't be better for us? or bad for us?

Er, what? Seriously, what the hell are you babbling about? The only tower I know of is the tower of Iyzel, and I've yet to hear any complaints about it lagging because it's crammed full of vendors.

Aside, I guess an Auction House would be nice for reducing lag in towns, and having to spend less time searching through shops...but meh.

People want this since forever,this is a great idea, it has been ignored, as for myself I'm very mad about it not been applied until now,and knowing os probably not even ever.

I'm all for the mailbox and the auction house, it would be nice to have a way to leave messages for offline people, and the auction house would stop all the shout spamming.

A "status" column in the friends list where you could write a few words would also be nice, e.g. "I'm afk" or "Grinding at (location)".

During my time playing this past week me and a friend have been shouting in eld and roumen about a Auction house, we turn our Esta into a auction place!!! Quite fun though, :O
We all take turns auctioning off our stuff and ext.. me alone made 20g last night from selling goods at the auction :D but It stinks how max players who can come in is only 15 :'( because right after someone left or was kicked a whole new group of people came in :D it lasted from 12pm~9:30pm :D

I think its a brillent idea auctions happening instead of over night stores and the interaction is more fun leaving more time for people to lvl up and do other things.
plus will help low the REDICUOUS PRICES in this game heck i can barrly afford anything
i'd also thing the mailing in game and status of what ur doing or where u are is fabulous
and i also think we need a Town Bulletin Board this way people can advertice about various things (like when a auction is starting) and more instead of shouting at one another where u can barly see whats going on it would lower lag and make the game more fun to be in :)

Oki twy, auction time is from 7pm~8pm or 8pm~9pm on weeks
On weekends its from 6pm~10pm

I like the idea of an auction house, but really like the idea of a mass store better.

Several reasons: When you are placing items, you can view other items similar to yours and get a comparable sale rate. Prices are ridiculous as it is, and sometimes people try to sale for way higher than what an item is worth. While this is not their fault, some sentimental attachment to items make the market price soar. Also, too many times you get "price check" please forums, shouts, whispers, etc. etc. A mass store, which would always be online would allow the players in various time zones to also take a chance at your wares. What's more, if it is an OS option, it might even be able to cross multiple servers. (don't know how the coding would work on this, but it is a thought) So the equips in store would not only be better, more eyes to access it.

On that same train of thought, even a different "server" for vending only comes to mind.

Yeah, wishful thinking I know..but just a thought.

i personally like the idea of an auction house. it would be beneficial when your looking for that one cruical peice of gear w/o having to spend days looking for it. Not sure if this thread was specifically for auction houses or any ides because i would love to see the % on archer blue boots changed to speed% so the 45 set would have 5% speed instead on 5%crit any thoughts?

And a bad thought. Yeah, let's market Hellgaits on a cross-server forum to servers (well, server) that hasn't even dropped Helga yet. The last thing this would do is drop prices...more like exactly the opposite.

Nah. Let's keep it all nice and orderly like it is now. Selling on Apoline, has to be bought on Apoline, and so on.

Of course this assumes it ever happens at all...and since it's one of those ideas that's been thrown around for a couple of years now, well...let's just say I'm not holding my breath and leave it at that.

A lot of games have mailbox and auction houses. In fact I was kind of surprised we didn't have one when I started this game.

An auction house can be great as a way of keeping inflation in check as well, aside from the obvious merits. The game could take a flat or progressive cut to remove currency from the game.

Well it would be nice to have a auction house!!!! like the one in World of war craft (WoW) but it might not happen hopeful it comes soon!
