Hmm. Okay, I got some advice for you.
Post on every thread you can. This is a way of introducing yourself. You normally don't need to report your arrival to everyone, such as this thread. After a few days of posting people will eventually "know you."
When posting, please read over what you are about to post. Make sure you are clear on what you are trying to get across. Nothing is more annoying than trying to decipher someone's cryptic message.
No flaming. This is the easiest way to get everyone to hate you. Poking fun at someone is okay, but make sure they will know that is what you're doing. Sarcasm doesn't translate well over text.
That's about all the advice I can give you. We're all a tight-knit community and I hope you fit right in.
